What is Jewell Aesthetic Med Spa?
Jewell Aesthetic Med Spa is a medical spa at 1200 Executive Parkway #360 in Eugene, Oregon, with the phone number (541) 683-3238. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport®, dermal fillers, several laser treatments, Ultherapy®, Sofwave™, Hydrafacial®, laser hair removal, skin assessment imaging and skincare products. Weight loss is one more service on that list.
Hillary Jewell, NP, handles the consultation, lab review and weekly injections in the weight loss program, which uses semaglutide (Wegovy) with B12 or tirzepatide (Mounjaro). The clinic also says it can prescribe other name-brand GLP-1 medications when they are needed. In its own words: "Every treatment plan begins with an in-depth consultation consisting of a thorough health exam, medical history review, and lab review to confirm your eligibility for the medical weight loss program."
It serves Eugene, Lane County and Corvallis. It is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What does it cost?
The weight loss program's introductory offer is $250 for four weeks. That covers a consultation and lab review with Hillary Jewell, NP, weekly GLP-1/B12 injection appointments, accountability at each visit, an anti-nausea prescription sent to your pharmacy, and special pricing for the remaining 16 weeks. It does not say whether the medication is included in the $250. It does not publish the price after the introductory period, and it does not list a separate consultation fee or say whether it accepts insurance.
The JAMS membership is separate. It costs $189 a month, applies to skin treatments and excludes weight loss. There are no initiation fees and no contracts. In its own words: "Cancel for free anytime with a 30-day written notice." Membership funds are non-refundable. Missing an appointment without cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours carries a $50 cancellation fee.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the $250 covers the medication, and what the medication costs each month after the first four weeks. Ask whether it is brand-name or compounded, and confirm who writes the prescription. Ask what lab work and follow-up visits cost once the first four weeks end, and whether a consultation costs anything if you decide not to start. Ask whether insurance is accepted and whether any visits can be done by telehealth, since it does not say. Finally, ask how the 30-day written notice applies to the weight loss program, not only the membership, and request the full cancellation policy in writing.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you live in Eugene, Corvallis or Lane County, want medically supervised GLP-1 weight loss alongside cosmetic work, and are comfortable getting the medication cost in writing before you pay. It also suits anyone who mainly wants skin treatments and would use the membership to save on them.
