About Wheeler Med Spa

What is Wheeler Med Spa?

Wheeler Med Spa is a medical aesthetics practice at 1723 Spoke Street in Oklahoma City, in the Wheeler District. Its main work is aesthetic: injectables, skin treatments, laser and light, and laser hair removal. Medical weight loss and peptides sit under its Wellness menu. Adrienne Jantz, APRN, MSN, NP-BC is the one person named as prescriber.

Medical weight loss is a supervised program that starts with a virtual consultation, and follow-ups are virtual too. The plan covers an evaluation and goals, prescription medications or injectables for fat loss and appetite, nutrition guidance, and progress checks. The clinic does not name the medication. In its own words: "The supervision is the product."

The at-home peptide list is NAD+, GLOW (GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500), Melanotan, MOTS-c, Selank, Semax, CJC/Ipamorelin and glutathione. Each starts with a virtual consultation. Glutathione and MIC/B12 shots are also given in the office. Hours are Monday 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 11am to 7pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 3pm, and closed on weekends.

What does it cost?

The virtual weight loss consultation is $50. The program itself has no published price. The rest is set after that consult, and it does not say whether medication is included in any figure. Memberships start at $99 a month and do not cover medical weight loss. The first three plans carry 6-month minimums, and the $249 plan runs on a 12-month commitment. In clinic, a glutathione injection is $25, and a MIC/B12 shot is $25 or $40 for a double dose. The at-home options run as subscriptions, and no prices are published for them. Payment plans through Cherry are offered. It does not say whether it accepts insurance.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the prescription for the weight loss medication, and which medication it is. Ask whether it is brand-name or compounded, and whether the monthly program fee includes it. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether weekly injections are given in the office and what refills cost. Ask whether the clinic takes insurance at all.

For the peptides, ask what each subscription costs and how the virtual consult decides which ones fit your history and medications. Ask how a membership or subscription is cancelled, because those terms are not published.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and a supervised weight loss or wellness plan under one roof, and you are willing to get the medication, follow-up costs and cancellation terms in writing before you pay. If you need a published program price or a named medication before you call, ask for those first.
