About The Aesthetics Place MedSpa

What is The Aesthetics Place MedSpa?

The Aesthetics Place MedSpa, also called TAP MedSpa, is a medical spa at 543 E State Hwy 152, Suite 105, in Mustang, Oklahoma. Its main business is aesthetic treatment: HydraFacial and Glo2Facial facials, SkinPen microneedling, LED light therapy, Jeuveau injections and custom medical facials. Medical weight loss is one of its services, alongside an adult and teen acne program. It does not name hormone therapy, peptide therapy or longevity medicine among its services.

Tanja Pittman, APRN, CNP, DNP is the one person the clinic names as prescriber. She has more than 38 years in healthcare and performs every treatment herself. The weight loss program uses semaglutide or tirzepatide, and Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound are also named. Visits can be in office or by telehealth. Hours are by appointment only: Monday and Wednesday 11am to 5pm, Friday 1pm to 5pm, and Saturday 10am to 2pm. You can call 405-256-6060.

What does it cost?

The one-hour medical weight loss consultation is listed from $200. Treatment plans start as low as $200 per month. It does not say whether that monthly figure includes the medication. A $50 deposit goes toward your first prescription order. Otherwise it is not refundable. The general new patient consultation is $50.

Skin care memberships are priced by monthly amount: $100 to $199, $200 to $299, and $300 or more. Membership terms, billing dates and cancellation rules are given when you enroll and are summarized in the refund policy. It does not say whether it accepts insurance or HSA payment, and it does not mention financing.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the $200 monthly plan includes the medication. If it does not, ask what the medication costs on top of it. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, since the clinic names both generic and brand names but does not say which it uses.

In its own words: "Physician-level care, supervised by a Doctor of Nursing Practice." Tanja Pittman is listed as a nurse practitioner, so ask who writes and signs each prescription and whether a physician is involved.

Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and which states the telehealth option covers. Ask whether the clinic takes insurance. Before you pay the deposit or enroll in a plan, ask for the refund policy in writing and how to cancel.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want facial or injectable skin treatments, or a supervised semaglutide or tirzepatide program with one named prescriber, and you are ready to pay cash for it. It is not the right fit if you need hormone, peptide or longevity care, since the clinic does not name those services.
