About Pulse Health & Wellness
What is Pulse Health & Wellness?
Pulse Health & Wellness is a medical wellness and aesthetics practice at 1124 W Will Rogers Blvd in Claremore, Oklahoma. Patients are seen by board-certified nurse practitioners, and the clinic does not name an individual prescriber on its public pages.
Its medical services are medical weight loss, hormone therapy for women, testosterone replacement therapy and vitamin injections. Most of the services on its list are aesthetic, including Botox and Jeuveau, dermal fillers, microneedling, laser treatments, hair restoration and body contouring. So this is mainly an aesthetics practice with a medical weight loss and hormone program alongside it. The clinic names semaglutide, phentermine, topiramate, Qsymia, Contrave, bupropion (Wellbutrin) and orlistat among its weight loss medication options.
It serves Claremore, Tulsa, Owasso, Broken Arrow, Catoosa, Pryor, Verdigris and Northeast Oklahoma. Its Google listing shows a 4.8 rating from 73 reviews.
What does it cost?
The initial one-hour consultation is $150. Monthly follow-ups are $95 a month on a cash-pay basis, and each follow-up includes an InBody body composition scan. The monthly fee does not include medication. Lab testing is billed to insurance or charged at the clinic's discounted cash-pay lab rate. Lipo and B12 shots can be added at $15 each, and Botox and Jeuveau are priced at $11 per unit.
The clinic accepts Medicare, CHAMPVA, Healthcare Highways, Aetna, TRICARE and HealthChoice, and roughly 75% of services are self-pay. The weight loss program has no long contract and no bulk package requirement. The clinic does not publish medication prices or a cancellation process.
What should you ask before you book?
In its own words: "Medication is one provider-directed tool inside that structure, not the program itself." It says medication is not required to join, so ask what the program looks like without it, and what a prescription would add to the $95 monthly fee each month.
Ask who writes the prescription and what that prescriber's name is. The clinic does not name one publicly, so get a name before you pay for a visit. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask how lab work will be billed, what it costs on cash pay and how often it is repeated. The clinic describes quarterly blood work for hormone therapy. Ask whether telehealth is available, since the clinic does not say, and what its office hours are, since none are listed. Finally, ask how to cancel, because the clinic does not publish a process.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a monthly, cash-pay weight loss or hormone program run by nurse practitioners, and you are comfortable paying for medication on top of the visit fee. If you need a named prescriber, telehealth or published medication prices before you book, call (918) 322-7400 and ask first.
