What is Renewed Therapeutics?

Renewed Therapeutics is a cash-pay practice at 6845 Providence Street in Whitehouse, Ohio. The new weight loss consult is $99 for 30 minutes. A problem focus telemedicine visit is $79. Renewed Therapeutics does not publish a monthly price for weight loss or hormone care, and it does not say clearly whether those prices include medication. Peptide therapy is not priced per unit, and lab work and follow-up visits are not priced.

It does not bill insurance and does not process claims with any health insurance provider. It does accept flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) payments. What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes each prescription, and whether Brandy Secory prescribes every medication you would be started on, including hormones and weight loss drugs.

Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication or whether the drug is billed on top of it. The practice does not say.

For semaglutide, ask whether you would receive a brand-name or compounded version. Renewed Therapeutics says it gets semaglutide from a compounding pharmacy and that FDA-approved versions are available. It puts name-brand semaglutide at $800 to $1,200 a month, so ask what each version would cost you.

Ask what lab work and follow-up visits cost, how often labs are drawn, and whether the program requires them.

Ask which visits can be done by video and which must be in the office, and whether a weight loss or hormone prescription can be started by telemedicine.

Ask how to cancel, how often you are billed, and what happens to a prepaid plan if you stop early.

For peptide therapy, ask for the price per unit and what each peptide is for.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want hormone care or a weight loss program run by a prescriber, you can pay cash or with an HSA or FSA, and you can get to Whitehouse. It is not a fit if you need the practice to bill your health insurance.
