What is Partnered Healing Functional Medicine?
Partnered Healing Functional Medicine is a functional medicine practice led by nurse practitioners. Its main work is root-cause care, built on testing, nutrition, supplement guidance and lifestyle plans. The clinic lists offices in Springboro and Dayton, Ohio. Its Google listing, under medical clinic, shows a 5 rating from 20 reviews. The clinic does not say when it opened.
Its services are Functional Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy, a Metabolic Wellness Program, Applied Kinesiology, an Infrared Sauna and a Woojer Wellness Mat. The sauna and mat are listed as complementary therapies. Weight loss is one part of the practice, handled through the Metabolic Wellness Program, a provider-guided GLP-1 program. In its own words: "Rather than a one-size-fits-all prescription, we start with lab work and a full consultation, then tailor your medication and dose to your body and your goals." The program includes a 60-minute first visit, check-ins at 3 and 9 months, and a planned step off the medication.
Sarah Rodewald, NPC-C founded the practice. Alexis Carver, FNP and Jenny Geitgey, APRN-CNS are the other named providers. The GLP-1 program names Alexis Carver, FNP as the provider you would work with. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 4 PM, Friday 8 AM to noon, and closed on weekends. The phone number is 937-863-1003.
What does it cost?
The Metabolic Wellness Program is $499 for the full program, with three visits over the first year. Half is due at scheduling and the rest at the appointment. The fee covers the first consultation and labs, the prescription and dosing, titration, nutrition guidance, follow-ups at 3 and 9 months, and limited provider messaging. It does not say whether the medication itself is included in the $499. You do not need a membership to join.
Functional medicine care starts at $750 flat for adults and $600 flat for anyone 17 and under, and covers three visits. After the first two, patients choose a membership. The Essentials Care Plan is $225 a month or $2,475 a year, and the yearly plan saves $225. The clinic will run lab work through insurance or offer cash pricing. It does not say whether visits are covered by insurance, and it does not publish cancellation terms for either program.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the $499 includes the medication and, if it does not, what the medication costs each month and where it is filled. The clinic does not name a specific GLP-1 medication, so ask which one you would be on and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask Alexis Carver, FNP whether she writes the prescription or whether another provider does.
Ask how follow-up lab work is billed after the first round, and whether the 50% deposit is refunded if you cancel. Ask how cancellation works for the GLP-1 program and for any membership. The program requires you to keep a primary care provider, so ask who would manage that alongside the GLP-1 care. Finally, ask whether any visits can be done by telehealth, since the clinic does not say, and which office you would be seen at.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you already have a primary care provider, you want a nurse practitioner-led GLP-1 program with lab work and a planned step off the medication, and you are ready to pay out of pocket. If you need the medication cost settled before you book, get that answer first.
