What is TheCenterSanctum?
TheCenterSanctum is mainly a medical spa and day spa with two Ohio locations, in Newark and Zanesville. Its locations are listed under the name Advanced Day Spa & Medical Spa. It was founded in 1996. Google lists it as a medical spa and gives it a 4.8 rating from 108 reviews.
It offers weight loss programs, aesthetics, microneedling, body treatments, couples massages, wellness injections, IV therapy, injectables such as Botox and Juvéderm, massages and a Japanese head spa. Weight loss is one service among many. The weight loss programs name HCG Rx, Lipo Stat Plus shots, Excelerator shots and NAD. The plans are built with consultants. In its own words: "our highly trained consultants can help customize a program to fit your specific lifestyle needs."
It does not name a prescriber for the weight loss programs. It does not name a GLP-1 medication, and it does not list hormone therapy or peptide therapy.
What does it cost?
The Premiere Plan is $179 for one month. It includes four Lipo Stat Plus shots and one free Excelerator shot, and excludes NAD. The Gold Plan is $359 for three months and includes twelve Lipo Stat Plus shots and three free Excelerator shots. The HCG Rx program is listed at $199, with no period stated. The 12 Week Plan and the weight loss products are both listed as "Prices Varies." It does not say whether the medication is part of these prices.
Body and aesthetic treatments are priced one at a time, from $49 for Cellum LED Therapy to $400 for Cryo-Lean 360. It offers Cherry payment plans, which are monthly plans with some qualifying for 0% APR. Approvals last 30 days, and applying requires a state ID and a mobile phone number. Cherry charges a 2.99% processing fee on payments made by credit card or prepaid debit card, and it may report account status to Equifax.
It does not publish a consultation fee, membership terms or a cancellation policy. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, so ask whether it bills insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the weight loss prescription, and whether that person sees patients at the location you choose. Ask whether the Premiere and Gold prices include the shots and any medication, and what the $199 HCG Rx program covers and for how long. Ask whether HCG Rx, Lipo Stat Plus and Excelerator are brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy supplies them. The HCG Rx program is described as FDA approved for weight loss, so ask for the approval or product label behind that claim.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and what NAD costs, since the free Excelerator shot excludes it. Ask how cancellation works and whether a plan paid over time can be stopped. Cherry sets its own refund rules, and the clinic cannot start a refund without Cherry's approval.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want spa and aesthetic treatments, or a weight loss plan built with consultants, and you are willing to ask who prescribes before you pay. If you need a named prescriber for medical weight loss, call and get that answer in writing before you book.
