Recrea Health & Wellness is a weight loss and wellness business based in Medina, Ohio. Weight loss is the lead service, and it offers semaglutide and tirzepatide for that purpose. Semaglutide is listed at $450 as its regular price. It does not say what period that price covers, or whether the medication is included. Tirzepatide has no published price. It asks you to submit a form to see it, and its IV kits and a weight loss injection work the same way.
The first consultation is free. The program is self-pay only. Ask whether HSA funds or financing apply. Its FAQ answers the question about length this way: "Most plans are 3 to 6 months, depending on your goals." It does not publish cancellation terms or lab fees.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription. Angela Jayes, NP is the only name given, and the clinic mentions physicians it does not name. Ask which state the prescription will be issued in, since the licenses it lists cover six states.
Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it. It names four it works with, in New York, Arizona and Florida. Ask whether the $450 semaglutide price includes the medication and what period it covers. Ask what tirzepatide costs before you submit the form.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and where labs are drawn. Ask how to cancel and whether cancelling carries a fee.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want weight loss or hormone care guided by a Nurse Practitioner, can do it remotely, and are ready to pay without insurance. Get the prescriber, the medication, the pharmacy and the total monthly cost confirmed before you pay.
