What is Freya Aesthetics & Wellness?
Freya Aesthetics & Wellness is a medical spa with offices in Johnstown, Zanesville and Dublin, Ohio. Most of what it does is aesthetic work: Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, PRP and PRF treatments, laser and medical-grade skincare. Two of its services are the ones a cash-pay patient is most likely considering: medical weight loss and hormone therapy for men and women.
The weight loss program names semaglutide and tirzepatide, and says it can also use oral prescription weight loss medication and peptides. The men's hormone program starts with a visit to a nurse practitioner, followed by a physician evaluation. The clinic does not name either prescriber. It has 6+ years in business and a 4.9 rating on Google from 65 reviews.
What does it cost?
The first visit carries a $100 consultation fee. The weight loss program lists starting prices of $179 a month for semaglutide and $265 a month for tirzepatide, and says pricing varies by dose, vial size and treatment plan. It does not say whether those monthly prices include the medication.
Men's HRT has a $300 onboarding fee, which covers the physician visit and follow-up with the nurse practitioner. Physician evaluations start at $175 and are required every six months. Labs drawn in the office cost an extra $350. Otherwise, labs are the patient's responsibility. The men's page also lists $400 for an initial consult plus lab analysis, with labs drawn offsite, so the first-visit figures do not match the $100 fee above. No price for women's HRT is shown. Membership is promoted with no terms given, and payment plans run through Cherry. The clinic does not say whether it accepts insurance for visits.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who signs the prescription. The clinic does not name the prescriber, but its weight loss page says: "Every patient in our weight loss program is seen, assessed, and monitored by a licensed medical provider." Ask for that provider's name and credentials before you pay anything.
Then ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost each month, and where labs are drawn, since the men's page mentions both on-site labs and offsite labs. Ask how a membership or payment plan is cancelled and whether there is a commitment period. Finally, ask whether insurance is billed and whether any visit can be done by telehealth.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want weight loss or hormone care from a clinic that also does a lot of aesthetic work, and you are willing to get the prescriber's name, the full monthly cost and the cancellation terms confirmed before you book. If you need a published price for every service, or a named prescriber on the website, you will need to call and ask.
