About THE ARMORY
What is THE ARMORY?
THE ARMORY is a medical practice and a gym under one roof in Columbus, Ohio. It has more than one office, all in Columbus, and it serves people from Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington, Victorian Village, and the OSU campus area. It has served Columbus families since 2004.
Its listed prescribers are Dr. Shawn Bailey, MD, Dr. Joseph Jacko, MD, and Rebecca McClain, APRN, FNP-C, MSN. The medical services include primary care, DEXA and VO2 max testing, TRT and hormones, and medical weight loss. The weight loss program can include GLP-1 medication when a provider decides it is appropriate. It does not list peptide therapy or a longevity program. Medical visits run Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and you do not need to be a member to see a provider.
This listing is for its Columbus office at 880 Kinnear Road.
What does it cost?
Memberships bill monthly. Gym is $99 a month, Medical is $199 a month, and Medical + Gym is $249 a month, which it says saves $49 a month. The Medical membership covers unlimited visits with the care team, DEXA scans, resting metabolic rate and VO2 max testing, and nutrition consults. Day, week, and 30-day gym passes are $15, $35, and $125. Having its nurses give your testosterone is a $50 a month add-on for medical members, available after a medical review, lab work, and a visit with an MD or NP.
Medication for weight loss is billed separately through its pharmacy partners. It does not publish medication prices or a consultation fee. Membership has no initiation fee, and Medical has a 3-month minimum. A full month is charged on the day you join, not prorated, and it renews monthly until you cancel. Billed payments are not refunded. In its own words: "A personalized health plan, without insurance or red tape." It is cash pay only.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs your prescription and how often you will see that person. Ask whether the $50 a month testosterone add-on includes the testosterone itself, since the clinic does not say. For weight loss, ask whether the GLP-1 medication is brand-name or compounded, which pharmacy fills it, and what it costs each month. Ask what lab work and follow-up visits cost after the first visit. It does not say whether telehealth visits are offered. Ask how cancellation works during the 3-month minimum, and whether HSA or FSA funds can go toward the medical part. That depends on your plan and on tax rules that changed in 2026, so confirm it with your own tax advisor.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want medical care, testing, and a gym or training program under one roof in Columbus, and you are ready to pay monthly out of pocket. It is a less clear fit if you need video visits or a medication price stated up front, since neither is published. Call (614) 437-9002 to ask.
