About Wellness Docs

What is Wellness Docs?

Wellness Docs is an integrative healthcare clinic with offices in Cincinnati and Hamilton, Ohio. Chiropractic care and physical therapy lead its service list, with IV therapy, vitamin injections and functional medicine alongside them. Weight loss and body contouring is one of its service groups, and it covers semaglutide, NAD+ Therapy, Evoslim Contouring and Anti-Cellulite Therapy. Semaglutide is the only medication the clinic names. In its own words: "Semaglutide is a once-weekly injectable GLP-1 medication originally developed for diabetes, now FDA-approved for medical weight loss."

The clinic does not name the prescriber for any of its medication services, so you will need to ask who signs the prescription. Its Google listing shows a 4.9 rating from 509 reviews, in the category wellness center. The clinic cites 52+ years of combined experience, but it does not say how long either office has been open. It does not publish opening hours, and it does not say whether telehealth is offered. The main number is (513) 342-1700.

This listing is for its Cincinnati office at 11123 Montgomery Rd Ste 105.

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices. That includes semaglutide, the weight loss program, NAD+ Therapy and the body contouring treatments, and it does not state a consultation fee. It also does not say whether the medication is included in any monthly price, or whether insurance is accepted for these services.

Before you commit, ask for the full cost of a first visit, then the monthly cost of the medication, then the cost of follow-up visits and lab work. If the answer comes back as a range, ask what the range depends on. A price that leaves out any of these is not a full price, so get the numbers in writing before your first appointment.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the prescriber. Ask who prescribes the semaglutide, whether that clinician examines you in person, and whether you will see the same person at follow-up visits. Then ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication or bills it separately, and whether the semaglutide is the brand-name product or a compounded version.

Next, ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether any of it is covered by insurance. Ask whether telehealth is offered for check-ins, and what the opening hours are at the Cincinnati and Hamilton offices. Finally, ask how a program is cancelled or paused, and whether there is a fee for doing so. Get the cancellation terms in writing before you pay anything.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want chiropractic, physical therapy or IV care under one roof and are also considering a medication program, and you are willing to ask a prescriber and price questions before you book. It is a weaker fit if you need a published price or a named prescriber before you pick up the phone.
