What is Unmasked Aesthetics?
Unmasked Aesthetics is a medical spa at 415 Glensprings Dr., Suite 102, Cincinnati, OH 45246. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: neurotoxins, dermal filler, Sculptra, SkinPen microneedling, facials and a VI chemical peel. Its wellness menu adds Medical Weight Loss, Hormone Optimization and Wellness IM Injections.
The weight loss program uses GLP-1 medications given by injection, after a consultation with a licensed practitioner. The clinic does not name the medications. Hormone therapy starts with a consultation and lab testing, then a plan built on bioidentical hormones. In its own words: "personalized hormone optimization therapy designed to help both men and women address symptoms that may be linked to hormone imbalance."
Triana Jordan, APRN, FNP-C, MSN, owns the practice and is its lead aesthetic injector, with over a decade of medical experience. Dr. Abraham Kuranga is listed as medical director. The clinic calls him a board-certified physician but does not give his credential letters. Google lists the practice as a medical spa with a 5 rating from 26 reviews. It is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, plus every other Saturday, and closed Wednesdays. The phone number is (513) 851-8600.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. The hormone page says the cost depends on lab tests, duration and treatment plan, and asks you to contact the office for pricing. It does not state a consultation fee, whether medication is included in the weight loss program, or whether it accepts insurance. The payment plans menu names Cherry and Affirm among its options, but it does not explain the terms.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription for weight loss and for hormones, and whether that person reviews your lab results and handles follow-ups. Ask whether a monthly fee includes the GLP-1 medication, which medication it is, and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the lab work, each follow-up visit and any refills cost, since those charges add up over months.
Ask whether there is a consultation fee and whether it counts toward treatment. Ask whether follow-up visits can be done by telehealth, because the clinic does not say. Ask whether any insurance is billed, and how cancellation and refunds work once a plan has started.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and hormone or GLP-1 care in one Cincinnati office, and you are willing to get every price in writing before you commit. It is less suited to someone who needs prices, medication names and cancellation terms in hand before making the call.
