About Prema Med Spa
What is Prema Med Spa?
Prema Med Spa is a med spa at 3690 Orange Pl, Suite #150, in Beachwood, Ohio. Aesthetic treatments are the main business: dermal fillers, facials, SkinMedica and PCA peels, Botox, InMode Fusion hair removal, Morpheus8 and Lumecca IPL. Medical weight loss is the other service, run from the same office.
The weight loss program uses semaglutide or tirzepatide, prescribed when clinically appropriate. The medicines are compounded. In its own words: "Compounded products have not been approved by the FDA." Patients who would rather not inject can ask about a semaglutide troche that dissolves under the tongue or a tirzepatide chewable tablet.
Edward Cornett, DO, FAAEP, is the medical director. He consults with every weight loss patient before anything is prescribed and approves refills. Nurses handle weekly check-ins, in person or from home. Jaci Zayas, RN, BSN, is the aesthetic injector. The office is open Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5:30 PM. The practice holds a 5 rating on Google from 210 reviews. Patients come from Pepper Pike, Shaker Heights, Orange Village, Woodmere, Solon and Chagrin Falls.
What does it cost?
The consultation is free, and new patients get $49 off the first month. Semaglutide starts at $149 a month and tirzepatide starts at $249. Each monthly price includes the medication, visits, weekly check-ins, and nutrition and supplement support, with no hidden fees.
Each medication has three dose levels with their own monthly price. Semaglutide is $149, $199 and $299. Tirzepatide is $249, $349 and $449. Billing is monthly. You can cancel after three months with 30 days notice. Payment is required in full before any medication is ordered.
FSA and HSA eligibility and coverage vary by plan. The clinic does not publish whether it accepts insurance. It accepts AfterPay, Cherry, Klarna and CareCredit.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask how a dose increase affects your price. The program is described as moving the dose up before the price changes, and most increases come with no price change. Get that rule in writing.
Ask which pharmacy fills your prescription. The partner compounding pharmacies are in Florida, and the clinic does not publish which one supplies its medication. Ask whether a brand-name product is an option.
Ask what the oral options cost. No separate price is listed for the troche or the chewable tablet. Ask what lab work and follow-up visits cost, and whether they are in the monthly price. Ask who signs each prescription change, and what you owe if you cancel before the three-month mark.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and a physician-supervised weight loss program in one Beachwood office, and you can pay the monthly price yourself or through financing. If you need insurance to cover the cost, or you will only take a brand-name product, ask those questions before you book.
