What is Lume Aesthetics?
Lume Aesthetics is a medspa at 1415 2nd Ave SW in Minot, North Dakota, and its main business is non-surgical aesthetic treatment. It offers neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport and Daxxify, dermal fillers, Sculptra, SkinPen microneedling and VI Peel. Weight loss and peptide therapy are two more services on the list. Ashley Wallner, FNP-C, MSN, is the founder and the only prescriber named. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with 13 years of clinical experience, six of them in aesthetic injections.
The weight loss program combines nutrition education and lifestyle coaching with compounded medication when it is appropriate. It names compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Its weight loss FAQ says people with a BMI of 25 or higher, or those facing challenges with weight management, may qualify. Peptide therapy starts with a consultation and a customized plan, but it does not name the peptides it uses. Its Google profile shows a 5 rating from 12 reviews.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for any of its services, and it does not say whether medication is included in any price. Consultations are always complimentary. It says it can give a detailed breakdown of costs and explain payment options, including any available financing. Financing is the only payment option it describes, and it does not say whether it bills insurance. Memberships appear in its menu, but it gives no terms for them, so ask what they cost and how to cancel.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who signs the prescription. Ashley Wallner is the only prescriber named, and no other licensed provider is named as supervising the weight loss program. Ask who writes and reviews the prescription and who you would speak with between visits. In its own words: Any prescription medication, including compounded Semaglutide, is provided only after evaluation and when deemed medically appropriate by a licensed provider.
Ask whether the semaglutide is compounded and whether tirzepatide is compounded or brand-name, since it does not say. Ask whether any program price includes the medication, and what each follow-up visit and lab test costs. Ask whether any visits can be done by video, because it does not say.
Posted hours disagree. One listing gives Monday 10 AM to 6 PM and Thursday 9 AM to 3 PM. Another gives Thursday 9 AM to 2:45 PM and Friday 9 AM to noon. Confirm the day you plan to come in. The phone number is (701) 658 6296.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want non-surgical aesthetic treatment in Minot and are also weighing the weight loss or peptide program. Get the cost and prescribing answers before you book.
