About Firefly Medical Group PLLC
Firefly Medical is a clinic brand with offices in more than one city. We list 2 of its clinics.
This page is for its Fargo, ND clinic at 5189 44th St S.
The write-up below is about the brand as a whole. Prices, hours and who prescribes can differ from one clinic to the next, so confirm them with this one.
What is Firefly Medical?
Firefly Medical is a cash-pay practice founded in 2021. Hormone therapy is its main service, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). It also offers direct primary care, advanced esthetics, specialized wellness and health coaching. Medical weight loss falls under specialized wellness, alongside ketamine, IVs and vitamin shots.
It names Xeomin® and testosterone products among its medications. In its own words: "Members receive direct communication via secure messaging, phone, and telemedicine."
What does it cost?
The BHRT package starts at $200 a month, and medication is not included. Lab work and supplements are billed separately. The initial visit costs $350 and is non-refundable. Direct primary care packages start at $150 a month for adults, $100 a month for children ages 0 to 21, and $300 a month for families. A lab package is $50 a month. It does not publish a price for medical weight loss, and ketamine and IV packages are priced on request. It does not accept insurance, and memberships are not health insurance. Packages may require deposits or commitment periods. Ending a membership early can bring a cancellation fee or forfeiture of deposits, and all sales are final.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the monthly fee covers any medication, or whether medication and lab work are added on top. For medical weight loss, ask what it costs, which medication would be used, and whether that medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask what follow-up and lab work will cost. The initial visit includes a follow-up if one is recommended, but lab work is extra, and a new visit for the same issue may need another consultation fee. Finally, ask how to end a membership and what the cancellation fee would be.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want hormone therapy or a membership-based primary care practice, can pay out of pocket, and will get the medication, lab and cancellation costs in writing before you book. It is a weaker match if you are looking for peptide or longevity care, since none is named.
