About D5 Health

What is D5 Health?

D5 Health is a physician-led longevity clinic at 618 W Jones Street Unit 102 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Its own description says the team specializes in hormone therapy, peptide therapy and evidence-based longevity medicine, and weight loss is one of its listed services. Dr. Philip Deibel, co-founder and lead physician, leads the clinic. Kendra Dove, PA-C, a physician assistant, is also listed as a prescriber. Cyril Tiedman is listed as practice manager, not as a prescriber.

The clinic offers a long list of services, including anti-aging and longevity protocols, male hormone optimization, menopause care, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), peptide therapy, body composition assessment and VO₂ max and metabolic testing. Medications it names include tirzepatide and semaglutide, along with tesamorelin, sermorelin, BPC-157 and PT-141/Bremelanotide. The GLP-1 weight loss program pairs physician oversight with nutrition coaching and quarterly InBody scans, and it says it starts low and titrates slowly. The office is open Monday through Wednesday from 09:00 to 16:00 and on Thursday from 09:00 to 17:00. Its Google listing shows a 5 rating from 16 reviews. The phone number is (919) 576-0252.

What does it cost?

D5 Health does not publish prices. The clinic is cash pay only. In its own words: "Our program is membership-based and direct-pay, ensuring personalized care without insurance barriers." It does not say what the membership costs, whether the monthly fee covers the GLP-1 medication, what the first consultation costs, or how cancellation works. Ask for every figure in writing before you book.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the prescription for the program you want, Dr. Deibel, Kendra Dove or both. Ask whether the membership fee includes the medication, or whether the drug is billed on top of it. Ask whether that medication is brand-name or compounded, since its hormones can be custom-compounded.

Ask what the first visit costs and whether it is part of the membership. Its hormone visits run 60 minutes or more, so ask how that time is priced. Ask what follow-up labs and body scans cost outside the membership. Finally, ask how a membership is cancelled, whether there is a minimum term, and whether any visits happen by video, since the clinic does not say.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you are paying cash for hormone, peptide or weight loss care and want a physician or physician assistant to direct the plan. It is a harder fit if you need a published price before you call, because the clinic does not give one. In that case, get the answers to the questions above first.
