What is Opteluxe Wellness?
Opteluxe Wellness is a med spa and wellness clinic in Mooresville, NC, serving Lake Norman and the greater Charlotte area. It does not publish a street address, so ask for one before you visit. Most of its services are aesthetic, including Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments and IV hydration. It also offers testosterone therapy, GLP-1 and GIP weight loss with semaglutide and tirzepatide, bioidentical hormone therapy, and peptide therapy. Its Google rating is 5 across 79 reviews. Visits can be in the office or by telehealth, and all visits are by appointment only. In its own words: "Every plan begins with a personalized consultation."
What does it cost?
The peptide prices are published and billed monthly. BPC-157 is $249 a month, TB-500 is $199, and the BPC-157 plus TB-500 Wolverine Stack is $299. The Glow Stack is $299 and the Klow Stack is $349. MOTS-c is $239, CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin is $249, and Tesamorelin is $299. NAD+ runs from $269 a month for 500 mg, or $369 for 1000 mg. Semax and Selank are $189 each, and the Semax plus Selank pair is $199. It does not say what these monthly prices cover, so ask.
It does not publish prices for semaglutide, tirzepatide or testosterone therapy. It does not say whether it bills insurance. The first step is a phone consultation, which is listed as free. It does not publish membership terms, cancellation rules, or any HSA or financing option.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who prescribes each service. The clinic does not name a prescriber, and its hormone material mentions nurse practitioners without naming any. Ask whether a telehealth visit is with the same person. Ask whether the peptides are approved drugs or compounded, and which pharmacy makes them. The peptide page says: "Peptide therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease." So ask what evaluation and labs come before a peptide is started.
For weight loss, ask the monthly cost of the medication and whether injections, visits and labs are included. Ask what lab work and follow-up cost, and whether hormone plans need repeat blood work. Ask whether the monthly peptide price includes the medication. Finally, ask how to cancel a monthly plan and whether there is a notice period.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and a medical service from one practice, you expect to pay for it yourself, and you are willing to get the prescriber's name, the monthly total and the cancellation terms in writing before you pay. If you need a published price list before you call, you will have to ask for most of it.
