About Church Street Medical Center and Aesthetics

What is Church Street Medical Center and Aesthetics?

Church Street Medical Center and Aesthetics is an internal medicine and aesthetics practice at 214 Church St NW in Lenoir, North Carolina. It is a private practice owned and operated by Jennifer Bennett-Williams, FNP, who has been running it since May 2023. Jennifer is a family nurse practitioner and a Medical University of South Carolina graduate. She is the only prescriber the practice names. The office is open Monday through Friday, until 6:00 PM on Tuesday and 4:00 PM on Friday. Saturday is by appointment for med spa services only, and Sunday it is closed.

On the primary care side it offers physicals, chronic disease management and sick visits, and weight management sits under internal medicine too. The aesthetics side includes injectables and threads, laser and IPL treatments, skin and facial treatments, brows, lashes and waxing, and IV hydration therapy. In its own words, the weight management visit starts like this: "They weigh you, assess your body mass index (BMI), and check your blood pressure and other vital signs." It does not name the medications it uses for weight management. It does not describe hormone therapy, peptide therapy or longevity medicine. Google shows a 5 rating from 45 reviews.

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices or a consultation fee. It does not say whether medication is included in any price. It accepts most major insurances. In its own words: "We accept most major insurances and offer affordable self-pay pricing for uninsured patients." Membership terms, cancellation, HSA use and financing are not mentioned either, so ask for each one in writing before you commit.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the prescriber. Jennifer Bennett-Williams, FNP is the only prescriber named, so ask whether she will be the one who reviews your history and writes any prescription. Then ask which weight loss medications would be used, by name, and whether they are brand-name or compounded. Ask whether a quoted price covers the medication or only the visit, and what the first visit, lab work and follow-up cost. Ask whether follow-up is in person or by telehealth, and whether your insurance covers weight management visits. Finally, ask how you cancel or pause if you decide to stop.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a family nurse practitioner who handles primary care, weight management and cosmetic treatments in one office, and you are willing to get every price and medication detail in writing before you pay. It makes less sense if you need a published price list, named medications, or hormone, peptide or longevity care, which it does not list. If that sounds like you, it is worth calling at (828) 726-3063.
