What is BioSymmetry?
BioSymmetry is a medical practice at 2280 W. US 70 Hwy in Goldsboro, NC 27530. You can call 919-988-9332. The office is open Monday through Thursday, 8am to 4pm. Dr. Chris Pate is the prescriber. He is American Board certified in Obesity Medicine and is a North American Menopause Society certified menopause specialist. Google lists the practice as a doctor, with a rating of 5 from 216 reviews.
The clinic describes itself as an integrative practice, and it lists two kinds of care side by side. Most of the service list is aesthetic: Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau, dermal fillers, microneedling, facials, laser hair removal and PDO thread lifts. The medical side covers bio-identical hormone therapy for women and men, thyroid optimization, peptide therapy, medical weight loss and postpartum depression. In its own words: "Dr. Chris Pate uses Bioidentical Hormone Replacement to help men and women fight the uncomfortable effects of aging and age related conditions."
What does it cost?
BioSymmetry does not publish prices for any service, including hormone plans, peptide therapy and weight loss programs. Its one stated starting point is a free consultation, booked through the line "Schedule A Free Consultation." The clinic does not say whether it accepts insurance, whether a program fee includes medication, or whether it offers financing, HSA payment or memberships. Ask for a written price list before the first visit, and ask what the consultation leads to.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription. The only prescriber named is Dr. Pate, so ask whether he sees you for hormone, peptide and weight loss care or whether another clinician does.
Ask whether the program fee covers the medication, and which weight loss medication or injectable would be used. The clinic names no drug for weight loss or hormone therapy. Ask whether that medication is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, whether follow-up can be done by telehealth (the clinic does not say), and how cancellation works and whether a program has a set term. If postpartum depression care is part of your plans, ask who evaluates it and what treatment is offered.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want hormone, peptide or weight loss care in the same office as cosmetic treatments, and you are willing to get prices and medication details in writing before you commit. It is a harder fit if you need published prices, insurance billing or a clear telehealth option before you book, since the clinic does not say whether it offers any of them.
