What is MarSha MedSpa?
MarSha MedSpa is a medical spa at 173 Mast Drive in Garner, NC 27529. Its main business is aesthetics: Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, fillers, Sculptra, laser hair removal, microneedling, facials and vein removal. It also offers medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, IV therapy and B12 injections.
The medical weight loss program is described as physician-supervised. It starts with lab work and an initial consultation, then a medical history review that includes an EKG and blood panel. The clinic describes the program as monthly or bi-monthly, with seven visits with a medical provider. The prescription options it names are semaglutide (Ozempic), liraglutide (Saxenda), tirzepatide (Mounjaro), naltrexone (Contrave), orlistat (Xenical) and phentermine. It says a nurse practitioner will discuss those options, but no individual prescriber is named. It lists a BMI below 26.5, high blood pressure or a history of heart problems as common reasons someone would not qualify for a prescription.
Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and Wednesday, 9 AM to 7 PM, Eastern time. The phone number is (919) 747-9733. It has a 4.8 rating on Google from 257 reviews, and Google lists it as a medical spa.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for medical weight loss. The clinic calls the program self-pay. In its own words: "The Medical Weight Loss Program at MarSha MedSpa is a self-pay service. Discuss detailed pricing with your medical provider." It gives no consultation fee, no lab cost and no medication price, and it does not say whether medication is included in a program fee. Hormone therapy has no published pricing either.
It advertises a membership at $100/month OR $200 off annual plan, without saying whether that applies to weight loss. It does not mention HSA use or financing.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and who supervises it. The clinic mentions a nurse practitioner and physician supervision but names no one, so ask for the name and credentials of the person who signs.
Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what you will pay each month in total. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded.
Ask what the lab work, EKG and follow-up visits cost, and whether the seven visits are included. Ask whether follow-ups can be done by telehealth, since the clinic does not say. Finally, ask how cancellation works, whether there is a minimum commitment, and whether the membership discount applies to the program.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person medical weight loss care in Garner, can pay cash, and are comfortable getting prices in writing before you book. It is a weaker fit if you need published prices, insurance billing or telehealth before you call.
