About CODA
What is CODA?
CODA is a wellness practice at 610 Jetton St, Suite 210, Davidson, NC 28036. The phone number is 704-900-0487. Google lists it as a wellness center with a 4.9 rating from 33 reviews.
Rachel Pritchard, FNP-BC, MSN, is the medical director and co-founder. Katie Morris, MMS, PA-C, is listed under hormone health, anti-aging and aesthetics. Taylor Easton, RN, is listed as a master aesthetic injector and longevity nurse. CODA does not say which of these providers treats weight loss patients.
The medical services are weight loss, male and female hormone evaluation, gender affirming hormones, primary care, sick visits, supplement guidance, digestive health and mobile IV services. It also offers aesthetic work such as Botox and facials. Its weight loss program combines GLP-1 peptides, supplements, vitamin injections, IV infusions and pharmaceutical medications, and CODA says it runs under the supervision of healthcare professionals. The program uses ShapeScale, a 3D body scan that tracks inches, lean mass, visceral fat and metabolic rate. CODA does not name a specific GLP-1 drug.
What does it cost?
CODA does not accept insurance. It offers invoicing, so you can submit claims to your insurer yourself for reimbursement. Its prices are per visit.
A weight loss initial consult is $350, and each follow-up is $150. CODA does not say whether GLP-1 medication is included in those fees. Male hormone care has an initial consult of $550 and follow-ups of $275, each a one-hour visit. Female hormone care has the same $550 and $275 prices, plus a separate fee for diagnostic testing that CODA does not state. Gender affirming hormone care is $300 for the initial consult and $150 for follow-ups.
CODA does not publish membership terms, financing options, HSA acceptance or a cancellation policy.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which provider will prescribe and manage your weight loss treatment, since CODA does not name one. Ask whether the $150 follow-up includes GLP-1 medication or whether the drug is billed separately. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and which drug it would be.
Ask whether the $350 consult includes the bloodwork and ShapeScale scan, or whether those cost extra. Ask what the hormone diagnostic fee is, and what follow-up lab work costs over time. Ask whether supplements, vitamin injections and IV infusions are billed on top of the program.
Ask whether any visits can be done by video, and what the office hours are, since neither is listed. Finally, ask how to cancel and whether any membership or minimum commitment applies.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a cash-pay practice that handles weight loss, hormone care and primary care in one place, and you are willing to get the medication cost in writing before you book. If you need a single monthly price or a named weight loss prescriber, call first and ask for both.
