What is MED.ish Laser Spa & Weight Loss?
MED.ish Laser Spa & Weight Loss is a medical spa at 3126 Milton Road, Suite 219 (Second Floor), Charlotte, NC 28215. Its main business is aesthetic work, including laser hair removal, laser facials, chemical peels and microneedling. Medical weight loss is one of its services, alongside men's sexual health, IV hydration and vitamin injections.
Roxanne Dancy, FNP, FNP-BC, MSN, is the prescriber named for the practice. The weight loss program uses compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, with phentermine and Zofran (Ondansetron) offered as add-ons. In its own words: "Our program offers compounded Tirzepatide, based on the same active ingredient used in brand-name medications."
The practice also lists testosterone replacement therapy under men's sexual health. It is rated 5 on Google from 161 reviews. It does not say how long it has been open.
What does it cost?
Weight loss is priced in blocks of weeks. Semaglutide is $275 for weeks 1 to 4, $275 for weeks 5 to 8 and $275 for weeks 9 to 12, then $299 and $350 for the later blocks. Tirzepatide starts at $375 for weeks 1 to 4 and rises to $675 for weeks 13 to 16. The consultation is complimentary and includes a Styku 3D body scan. Phentermine is $50 for a 30-day prescription, and Zofran is $29 for 30 days. The practice does not say whether the medication is included in these prices.
Membership runs $169 a month on a 4-month commitment for 10% off treatments, or $249 a month for 15% off. The practice does not state that it accepts insurance. It offers financing and payment plans for select treatments, and it lists HSA and FSA options.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and signs the weight loss prescription, and whether the same prescriber handles follow-up. Ask whether the block prices cover the medication, the injections and the body scans, and whether lab work and follow-up visits cost extra. Ask what compounded means for the medication you would receive and which pharmacy fills it. Ask whether the EKG and blood pressure check listed in the phentermine program are included in the $50. Ask whether visits can be done by video, since telehealth is not stated.
If you are interested in the NAD+ injections, ask who prescribes them, because no prescriber is named for them. Ask how the membership is canceled and whether you must commit to four months if you only want weight loss care. The hours are listed two different ways, so confirm them before you go. Finally, ask whether any insurance is accepted or whether only HSA, FSA and financing are available.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want nurse practitioner-led weight loss care with compounded GLP-1 medication, you are ready to pay cash or through financing, and you also want aesthetic treatments at the same address. It is a weaker fit if you need insurance billing, video visits, or a clear medication price before you book, since none of those are published.
