What is Prime Health?
Prime Health offers medical weight loss, testosterone therapy, peptide therapy, vitamin B-12 and L-carnitine, and a women's testosterone cream program. Its weight-loss program names tirzepatide and semaglutide. Its testosterone therapy names testosterone cypionate, gonadorelin and enclomiphene. Peptide options listed include sermorelin and tesamorelin. A lab panel called Men's Vitality Lab covers hormones and thyroid, among other markers.
The company describes itself as providing technology and patient-support services. Clinical evaluation, prescribing and pharmacy services are provided independently by licensed professionals and pharmacy partners. In its own words: "Care still uses a telehealth-first workflow with local labs and shipped treatment planning when appropriate." It does not say whether patients are seen in person, and it does not name the physician or provider who prescribes.
What does it cost?
It lists a $45 start for its GLP-1 weight-loss program and says that amount is included in the total program price. It lists tirzepatide from $450.00 and semaglutide from $350.00. It does not say whether those figures are monthly or per injection, and it does not say whether medication is included in the $45. The company also states that starting payment does not guarantee a prescription. It does not publish prices for testosterone therapy, peptide therapy, vitamins or the women's cream program.
It does not work directly with insurance. It accepts HSA and FSA cards for eligible expenses, and patients should confirm eligibility with their plan administrator.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription and whether that provider holds a license where you live. Ask whether the $45 start goes toward the medication, and what the $350.00 or $450.00 figure covers and how often it is billed.
Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. The company notes that compounded medications are not FDA-approved, so it is worth asking directly.
Ask about labs. In eligible cases the GLP-1 path can begin without routine upfront labs once a lab waiver is signed. If labs are required, ask what they cost, and ask for the walk-in fee on Men's Vitality Lab.
Ask what follow-up, refills and shipping charges look like, whether visits happen in person or by video, and how cancellation works, including any fee.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want telehealth-first care for weight loss or hormone questions, you can pay directly or with HSA or FSA funds, and you are comfortable asking who prescribes and what the medication is before paying anything. It is worth calling if you want one starting point before choosing a medication. If you need a physician you can see in person, or a clear total price for the full course, get those answers in writing before you pay.
