About CNY Health

What is CNY Health?

CNY Health PLLC is a cash-pay practice at 1617 N. James St. Suite 600 in Rome, NY 13440. The phone number is 315-362-6355. It is mainly a hormone and medical weight loss practice, with peptide therapy and sexual health care alongside. The prescriber named is Nurse Practitioner Bourgeois, a Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of health care experience and added certification training in functional medicine, weight loss and TRT.

It serves Rome, Utica, Oneida and nearby areas. The first visit is in person, and some follow-ups can be done by phone or telehealth. Google lists it at 5 stars from 13 reviews. In its own words: "We are not a Med Spa adding on this service or a national chain that popped up just to make quick money on the newest trend."

What does it cost?

The clinic publishes most of its prices and does not take insurance. Semaglutide starts with a $380 first visit that includes the first vial and supplies. After that, a visit with a vial costs $270 for 5 mg, $345 for 7.5 mg or $495 for 12.5 mg. Tirzepatide starts with a $600 first visit, then $470 for a 20 mg vial or $750 for 40 mg. The low-dose naltrexone program is $299 for the first visit, $299 for the next and $239 for the last. Testosterone starts with a $200 evaluation that includes the first month, then runs $149 a month. Pellet placement is $395 plus blood work, with a $150 evaluation that is waived if pellets go in at that visit. Peptide vials run from $100 to $300, and vitamin B injections are $25 each. Weight-loss packages can be paid in 4 weekly payments with a $5 fee per transaction and required auto-payment. Cancellation terms are not published.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes and signs the prescription, since the weight-loss material names a different nurse practitioner than the provider bio does. Ask whether each semaglutide or tirzepatide vial is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it. Ask what blood work costs, since labs come before treatment and every 3 to 4 months for peptides. Ask whether the fee covers the medication and every visit, and what the $20 in-office injection charge adds. Ask how cancellation works, and whether a paused treatment restarts once the account is current. If you live outside New York, ask which states telehealth covers, because the clinic does not say. Confirm the hours by phone, since two different schedules are listed.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live near Rome, Utica or Oneida, can pay out of pocket on a set schedule, and want a nurse practitioner handling hormone or weight-loss care. It is not a fit if you need insurance billing or cannot commit to recurring payments.
