About Balanced Health & Wellness
What is Balanced Health & Wellness?
Balanced Health & Wellness is a wellness and med spa clinic at 917 W Beech St in Long Beach, NY 11561. The phone number is 516-689-7580. It offers IV therapy, NAD+, IM wellness shots, medical weight loss, men's health, women's health, peptide therapy, lab draws, trigger point therapy and aesthetics. The clinic describes its weight loss programs as physician-supervised and built on GLP-1 medication, with nutrition coaching and labs. Its hormone care covers testing and bioidentical hormone replacement, and it names testosterone and Biote. Its aesthetics work uses Xeomin, Jeuveau, Daxxify and Botox. Telehealth visits are available.
The clinic does not name the provider who prescribes. It holds a 5 rating on Google from 190 reviews. Hours run Monday 10am to 8pm, Thursday and Saturday 9am to 4pm, and 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
What does it cost?
Weight loss is priced by the month. The GLP-1 program is $325 a month, GLP-2 starts at $250 a month and GLP-3 starts at $300 a month. The clinic does not say whether medication is included in those prices. Men's health lists testosterone at $199 a month and a men's health membership at $250 a month. Biote is listed at $650 for men and $900 for women, with no billing period given. Peptide therapy starts at $150, and the initial medical consultation is $150. IV therapy starts at $109.95, neurotoxin at $10 per unit, dermal filler at $375 and Hydrafacial at $150. Concierge visits to your home cost $100 in Long Beach and surrounding areas, $150 in Nassau County, and $250 in Suffolk County and the Five Boroughs.
The clinic lists HSA and FSA eligible services but does not describe insurance billing. It does not state financing terms or cancellation terms for its weight loss program.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who prescribes. Ask for the name and license of the provider who would sign your prescription, since the clinic does not name one. For weight loss, ask whether the $325 monthly price includes the GLP-1 medication, which product it is, and whether that product is brand-name or compounded. Ask what labs, follow-up check-ins and the $150 consultation cost, and whether any of them fall outside the monthly fee.
Ask how a monthly program is cancelled and whether it carries a minimum commitment. Ask whether financing is available. On peptides, in its own words: "Every peptide plan is built and signed off by a licensed medical provider." Ask who that provider is, and ask for the plan and its full cost in writing before you pay for any peptide or hormone care.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a monthly, provider-led program for weight loss or hormone care, and you are comfortable paying out of pocket for consultations and labs. Get the prescriber's name and the full monthly cost in writing before you book. It may not suit you if you need a published price that includes the medication, or a clinic that names its prescriber before you call.
