About NY Longevity

What is NY Longevity?

NY Longevity is a cash-pay clinic at 1100 Franklin Ave Suite 203, Garden City, NY 11530. It describes itself as a longevity and preventive health practice. Its service areas include weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, aesthetics and wellness, and advanced testing and diagnostics. Its care is described as directed by double-board-certified physicians, and its medical doctors have over 25 years of experience. No prescriber is named, so that is the first thing to ask.

Named medications include GLP-1 and GIP medications for weight loss, hormone prescriptions such as testosterone and estradiol, and six peptides: CGC-1295, Ipamorelin, Sermorelin, Tesamorelin, TB-500 and BPC-157. Intake is partly virtual. You complete a health history form and meet the team virtually before your visit.

What does it cost?

Its prices do not match across pages. The weight loss program is $1,500 a year on the home page and $2,000 a year on the membership page, where it also lists a $1,000 initial assessment and an $85 monthly fee. The MD consultation is $500 on one page and $1,000 on the other. The full-day initial evaluation is $2,750 everywhere it appears.

The Maximum Longevity membership is $7,500 a year, with the same $2,750 initial assessment and an ongoing monthly fee of $350 to $500. The hormone program lists $1,500 for the initial assessment and $150 a month, next to a $7,500 yearly figure, so ask which applies. A la carte, a DEXA scan is $150, VO2 max is $200, RMR is $150 and a nutritionist consultation is $250.

Medication is not included in the weight loss or longevity prices, and prescriptions are only available with membership. It does not publish insurance acceptance, office hours or cancellation terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the prescriptions and what their credentials are. Ask which weight loss price applies, $1,500 or $2,000 a year, and whether the MD consultation is $500 or $1,000.

Ask whether the monthly fee covers any medication or whether drugs are billed on top. The weight loss page says GLP-1 prescriptions go only to certified compounding pharmacies or directly to Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly, so ask which route applies to you and whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. Its own words: "Pharmaceutical grade medications and supplements only," so ask what that means for compounded products.

Ask what follow-up visits, blood work and DEXA scans cost between quarterly visits, whether it bills insurance, how to cancel a monthly membership, and whether the initial assessment is refundable. Call (516) 279-6080 for office hours.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want an in-person, full-day evaluation in Garden City and you are ready to pay cash for the assessment and a monthly plan that does not include medication. If you need insurance billing or one settled price, wait until the questions above are answered in writing.
