About LIVBETTER

What is LIVBETTER?

LIVBETTER is a wellness and aesthetics medical spa with offices in Rockville Centre, Cedarhurst and Southampton, New York. Much of its menu is IV therapy and aesthetic work such as Botox, fillers and microneedling. Alongside those, it offers medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy and NAD+ therapies. Its Google listing shows a rating of 5 from 47 reviews and a category of wellness center.

Its weight loss and hormone programs are offered through telemedicine, with medication shipped to the home. In its own words: "Through secure virtual visits, our licensed providers evaluate your medical history, create a personalized treatment plan, and prescribe medication when appropriate." The weight loss program names semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide. It does not name the prescribing clinician or give their credentials.

This listing is for its Cedarhurst office at 535 Chestnut St # B.

What does it cost?

Its published prices are monthly. Microdosing GLP-1 is $199 a month. Semaglutide is $299 a month, tirzepatide is $499 a month and retatrutide is $599 a month. It does not say whether the monthly price includes the medication, so ask before you assume it does. It publishes no consultation fee and no price for its hormone, peptide or IV services. It does not say whether it accepts insurance.

Asked whether you must commit long term, it answers: "Not necessarily. We create flexible programs that fit your lifestyle." It does not describe how to cancel.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the prescriber. Ask for the name and license of the clinician who signs your prescription, and whether you will see that person by video or in person. Ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication and the follow-up visits. Ask what the initial lab work and body composition scan cost, since the clinic does not price them. Ask whether each medication is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it.

Then ask whether insurance is accepted, whether HSA funds can be used or financing is offered, and what the consultation costs. Ask how cancellation works and whether there is a minimum number of months. Finally, ask whether telemedicine covers your state and what hours each office keeps, because the clinic does not list hours.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live in New York, want one practice that handles medical weight loss or hormone care alongside IV and aesthetic treatments, and are ready to pay cash once you have the prescriber's name, the full monthly price and the cancellation terms in writing.
