About Fountain of Youth LC
What is Fountain of Youth LC?
Fountain of Youth LC is a physician-led clinic at 4440 Sonoma Ranch Blvd, Suite B, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Its main work is medical weight loss and hormone therapy. Joanna Rachelson, MD, and Laura Leija-Urrea, MD, both Family Medicine physicians, prescribe there. The clinic has a 5 rating on Google from 16 reviews.
Weight loss patients are seen monthly, starting with labs and a health history review. The clinic also offers peptide therapy, PHYSIQ 360 body contouring and a hair loss treatment. Visits are in person only. In its own words: "Always in person, here in Las Cruces, NM." Most patients come from Las Cruces, Mesilla and Doña Ana County, and some drive in from Anthony, Sunland Park and El Paso. Care is offered in English and Spanish.
What does it cost?
A consultation is $75, and that fee applies to your first month if you go ahead. Monthly weight loss prices are $199 for Semaglutide, $349 for Tirzepatide and $400 for Retatrutide. It does not publish whether those monthly prices include the medication. New patients can start any of the three for $99 in the first month. Vials with syringes cost $300 for Semaglutide and $500 for Tirzepatide. Three-month bundles run $550 for Semaglutide and $950 for Tirzepatide. A three-month Retatrutide bundle is listed at both $1,050 and $750, so ask which one applies. Complete programs with three months of medication, 5 to 10 PHYSIQ 360 sessions and one peptide are listed at $1,999, $2,399 and $2,599. Hormone therapy and peptide prices are not published. It does not publish whether it takes insurance, and it publishes no membership or cancellation terms.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the monthly price includes the medication, and what it costs if it does not. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Semaglutide is often prescribed in compounded form, and Tirzepatide is offered as a compounded option, so ask which pharmacy fills it. Ask who signs your prescription and who you call about side effects between visits. Ask what lab work and follow-up cost beyond the monthly fee. Ask for hormone therapy and peptide prices before you book. Ask how cancellation works, whether a bundle can be stopped early, and whether any money comes back.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person care in Las Cruces, can pay cash, and want a monthly price in writing before you commit. It is a weaker fit if you need telehealth, insurance billing, or hormone and peptide prices before your first visit.
