About Nursify Aesthetics & Wellness

What is Nursify Aesthetics & Wellness?

Nursify Aesthetics & Wellness is a nurse-owned medical spa at 5500 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, and can be reached at (505) 500-7900. Its main business is aesthetic treatment. Its six listed services are wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, SkinPen microneedling, PRF hair restoration, Wellness injections such as B12, NAD+ and glutathione, and medical weight management. Weight management is one service on that menu, not the whole practice.

Thanisha Daniels, RN, BSN, MEP-C, is the owner and a Certified Nurse Injector. Katrina Trujillo, NP, is the Medical Director, and the weight management programmes run under her oversight. It has 14+ years of clinical experience, and it holds a 5-star Google rating from 47 reviews. Visits can be in person at the Albuquerque studio or by telehealth. Selected treatments, including medical weight management consultations, can also be done as in-home concierge visits in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe and Corrales. Dermal fillers and PRF hair restoration are in-studio only.

What does it cost?

Medical weight management starts at $250 per month. The clinic lists two programmes: Standard from $250 per month and Advanced from $350 per month. Both include monthly follow-up consultations with the Medical Director and medication where clinically applicable. The clinic does not name the prescription drug, and it does not say exactly what medication coverage includes, so ask whether the drug is part of the monthly fee at all.

Other prices are wrinkle relaxers from $10 per unit, dermal fillers from $550 per syringe, SkinPen microneedling from $350 per session, PRF hair restoration from $500 per session, and Wellness injections from $35 each. In its own words: "Consultations are complimentary and come with no obligation to book." New Mexico gross receipts tax applies to all services. It does not say whether it takes insurance, and it does not publish cancellation or commitment terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with who signs your prescription and who you will see each month. The clinic names Katrina Trujillo, NP, as Medical Director, so ask directly whether she is the prescriber for your programme. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and if it does not, what the drug costs each month. Ask whether the drug is brand-name or compounded, since the clinic does not say.

Then ask what lab work, extra visits and any move from Standard to Advanced will cost. Ask how cancellation works and whether there is a minimum number of months. Ask whether the medical clearance visit can be done by telehealth, and whether any fee is refunded if clearance is not given. Ask whether insurance is billed in any way, and ask for studio hours, since none are published.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want weight management and aesthetic treatments from one nurse-led practice, you can pay cash every month, and you accept that a medical clearance visit comes before any prescription is discussed. If you need insurance billing, posted hours or written cancellation terms, get those answers before you book.
