What is North Jersey Health & Wellness?
North Jersey Health & Wellness is a multi-service practice with offices in Paramus, Ramsey, Florham Park and Red Bank, New Jersey. Most of what it lists is behavioral health, including anxiety, depression, therapy and psychiatric care. Weight loss is one service under its Weight & Nutrition heading, alongside nutritional counseling, sports nutrition, B12 injections, lipotropic injections and body composition testing.
Derek Berberian, MD, is the only prescriber named. He is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology, and he decided to start the practice in 2015. Heather Campanile is the registered dietitian who does nutrition counseling, but she is not named as a prescriber. The weight program names two medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide. Care is offered in person or by secure telehealth. Hormone therapy is not among the listed services.
In its own words: "At North Jersey Health & Wellness, our physician-supervised program combines careful medical care, including GLP-1 medications when appropriate, with real nutrition support from a registered dietitian."
This listing is for its Paramus office at 4 Forest Ave.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices, a consultation fee, or a monthly program price. It does not say whether medication is included in any price. It does say it accepts most major insurance and will help you check your coverage. It does not state whether weight care is paid in cash, through a membership, or with financing. Call (201) 588-3491 before you book and ask for the cost of the first visit, the monthly cost of the program, and whether medication is included.
What should you ask before you book?
Who signs the prescription? Ask whether Derek Berberian, MD, signs every GLP-1 prescription or whether another clinician does.
Does the monthly fee include the medication? If it does not, ask what semaglutide or tirzepatide costs each month at the pharmacy.
Is the medication FDA-approved or compounded? The clinic's own page warns that compounded products can differ in concentration, and that doses may be written in milligrams, milliliters or syringe units. Ask the prescriber to walk you through the exact dose before you use anything.
What do follow-up visits, lab work and body composition testing cost? Ask whether there is a contract or minimum term, and how cancellation works.
Which plans are accepted for this program, and does coverage extend to the medication? Ask before you book, not after.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a physician overseeing a GLP-1 plan, with a registered dietitian on the same team, and you want the full cost in writing before you commit. It is not the place for hormone therapy, peptide therapy or longevity medicine, since none of those are listed.

We have not yet collected published prices or prescriber credentials for this clinic. When we do, they will appear here with a link to the page they came from — or a note saying the clinic publishes none, which is itself worth knowing. Call them for a price in the meantime.
