About Providence Medical and Infusion Center

What is Providence Medical and Infusion Center?

Providence Medical and Infusion Center is a medical and infusion center with several offices. Its services are mental health, IV infusions and mineral therapy, men's health, weight loss therapy, health management, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ketamine therapy. The weight loss program names semaglutide and tirzepatide, and the men's health program covers testosterone replacement.

Its listed prescribers are Nalin Epa Ranasinghe, MD, Patrick Rockwell, PA and Dr. Ritesh Amin. It does not say which of them prescribes weight loss medication. In its own words: "Browse our full menu of custom IV Infusions/Drip Ad-ons, programs for Weight Management & Restorative Health for Men."

What does it cost?

Its published prices start with a $99 initial consult, which is listed for both weight loss and men's health. Semaglutide injections are $239 a month, and high dose semaglutide is $289 a month. Testosterone replacement is $199 for 3 visits a month including medication. The eight listed IV infusions are each $129.

The testosterone price says medication is included. The semaglutide prices do not say either way, so ask. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not publish commitment or cancellation terms for the weight loss program. It does not publish prices for mental health services, transcranial magnetic stimulation or ketamine therapy.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask which prescriber will sign your weight loss prescription and whether that person handles your follow-up visits. Ask whether the $239 or $289 monthly fee covers the medication, and whether the drug is the brand name Wegovy or a compounded version. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, since none of those appear on the price list.

Ask whether telehealth is available for medical visits, because the clinic does not say. Ask how cancellation works and whether you are committed to a set number of months. Ask whether any of these services are covered by insurance, and which office you would attend and what its hours are, since hours are set by office.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want in-person care with a cash-pay menu of injections, testosterone replacement or infusions, and you are comfortable paying monthly. Get the answers to the questions above before you pay, especially on medication, follow-up costs and cancellation.
