About Complete Wellness Spas

What is Complete Wellness Spas?

Complete Wellness Spas is a medical weight loss practice with two offices in New Jersey, one in Bayonne and one in Galloway. It has served patients since December 2022. Its medical director, Dr. Joseph Fretta, MD, is an internal medicine physician with more than 40 years of experience in medical practice, and the clinic names him as its prescriber. The weight loss program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide. The clinic also offers B12 and NAD+ injections, Tox and lip fillers, and four facials. Its Google listing shows a 4.9 rating from 42 reviews.

The program starts with a consultation. In its own words: "Discuss your goals and treatment options with a medical provider, with follow-up visits included." If a provider decides treatment is appropriate, the first shot can be given on the day of the consultation.

What does it cost?

The consultation is free, and medication is not included. Medication is charged per shot. For the first two weeks, semaglutide is $39 per shot (regularly $60) and tirzepatide is $69 per shot (regularly $100). These introductory prices are part of a fall special for new patients and returning patients who have not been seen in 6 months or more. The special applies to the Galloway location only. New patients also save the previous $270 consultation fee. It does not publish the medication price after the introductory period, and it asks patients to contact the team for that. It does not say whether it accepts insurance.

The B12 and NAD+ shots are $20 per shot, with NAD+ previously listed at $40 per shot. Tox is $9 per unit, and lip filler is $489 for one full syringe. Both are offered at Galloway. Facials run from $55 to $65.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes and signs the prescription, and how often you would see that provider. Ask whether the medication price after the introductory two weeks stays the same. The clinic does not say whether its medication is brand-name or compounded, so ask directly. Ask what "follow-up visits included" covers, and what lab work costs if it is needed. Ask whether telehealth visits are possible, since the clinic does not describe them. If there is a membership, ask about the monthly cost and how to cancel. Ask whether your insurance applies. It does not publish a street address for Galloway, so ask for one before you visit.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want medical weight loss with a physician named as prescriber, you are ready to pay cash for the medication on top of the consultation, and you can get the answers above before you book.
