About Your Whole Health
What is Your Whole Health?
Your Whole Health is an integrative medicine practice at 1738 Route 31, North Suite 202, in Clinton, NJ 08809. Laurie Turenne-Kolpan, MD is the only prescriber the practice names. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice (FAAFP), a Fellow of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (FAIHM) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM).
Weight loss is one of its main services, alongside IV therapy, post-menopause group visits and membership. The weight loss group meets for eight bi-weekly group visits. The weight loss membership adds six 30-minute one-on-one sessions over six months. The practice says weight loss medications will be offered as part of that membership, but it does not name them. NAD+ is the one medication it names. The first consultation is in person, and many follow-ups can be done by telehealth. It has a Google rating of 5 from 16 reviews. It does not publish office hours.
This listing is for its Clinton office at 1738 NJ-31 Ste 202.
What does it cost?
The weight loss membership is $850 for six months. It does not say whether that includes medication, and it does not publish a price for the weight loss medications. The general membership is $375 for the initial visit, then $120 a month for adults 22 and older, $85 a month for ages 18 to 21 and $55 a month for ages 17 and under. It includes up to six 30-minute visits a year, unlimited messaging with your doctor and 15% off supplements. Extra visits are $160 per 30 minutes. After the initial consultation, the contract is annual. In its own words: "Membership is our preferred model as this allows a truly collaborative approach to healthcare."
A consultation is $475 for the initial 60-minute visit, or $300 for a 60-minute follow-up. IV treatments run $130 to $195 each, and an InBody scan is $55. The practice does not say whether it accepts insurance. It does say HSA and FSA accounts can typically be used, after you check with your insurance representative. If you have Medicare or Medicaid, it says you cannot submit its bills for reimbursement.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which weight loss medications would be offered, and whether they are brand-name or compounded. Ask whether the $850 covers the medication, and if not, what it costs each month. Ask whether Dr. Turenne-Kolpan is the one who writes the prescription, and who follows up on it between visits.
Ask what labs and tests cost. The practice says standard labs are typically covered by insurance, and that its functional tests usually are not. Ask how an annual membership is cancelled and whether any unused time is refunded. Ask what happens between visits if a problem comes up. The practice says it is not available on an urgent basis and answers most questions within 24 hours, sometimes up to 72.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a physician-led membership you can pay for yourself, you are comfortable with most follow-ups happening by telehealth, and you do not need same-day answers. It is not a fit if you need urgent care or insurance billing.
