What is The Vital Elements?
The Vital Elements is a wellness and medical aesthetics practice at 86 Lafayette Road, Unit 7, in North Hampton, New Hampshire. Its flagship is customized wellness plans for IV infusions and injections, built in a consultation. Google lists it as a medical spa. It also offers weight loss, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), micronutrient testing and medical aesthetics such as injectables, filler and chemical peels. The phone number is 603.310.9946.
Jessica Clough, APRN, CRNA, and Anna Goodkin, APRN, CRNA, are the founders and the two prescribers the practice names. Between them they have a combined 40 years of experience in anesthesia and critical care. The weight loss program names semaglutide and tirzepatide as its prescription medications, and it offers them only after a medical evaluation. In its own words: "The initial appointment includes a full history intake assessment." Google shows a 5-star rating from 48 reviews.
What does it cost?
It publishes some prices. The infusions are $150 for Hangover Recovery, $170 for Athletic Performance, $200 for Athletic Recovery and $250 for a Custom Blend. The micronutrient test is $599, which includes lab work, results and a personal consultation to set the plan that follows.
It does not publish prices for weight loss, BHRT, injections or medical aesthetics, and it asks people to contact the office for pricing. The Monthly Hormone Membership is also listed as contact for pricing. It includes ongoing consultations, a personalized BHRT plan, regular lab monitoring, 15% off BHRT-related supplements and priority scheduling. It does not publish cancellation or commitment terms for the membership.
It does not say whether medication is included in any price. It does not state a consultation fee. It does not say whether it accepts insurance. The menu lists financing, but it does not say what terms apply.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription, and whether the same provider follows you through your care. Ask whether a weight loss price or the membership fee includes the medication, and whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the consultation costs, and what lab work and follow-up visits cost on top of that.
For the membership, ask how to cancel, how much notice is required and whether there is a minimum commitment. Finally, ask whether the office bills insurance, whether telehealth visits are possible and what its hours are, since it does not publish any of those.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you plan to pay out of pocket, want care from the two founders at a North Hampton office, and want the price and medication terms confirmed in writing before you book. Call first if you need insurance billing, telehealth or set office hours, because none of those are published.
