What is Summit Hydration & Wellness?
Summit Hydration & Wellness is a cash-pay practice at 2321 Pyramid Way, Suite B in Sparks, Nevada. It runs mainly as a direct primary care office, where patients pay a monthly membership in place of co-pays. Its other services include IV hydration and IV drips, medication-managed weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, mental health visits, aesthetics and skin treatments, and lab and supplement ordering through FullScripts.
The weight loss program names Ozempic, Mounjaro and semaglutide as options, and it describes a approach that combines clinical oversight, lifestyle guidance and several prescription options. No prescriber is named for weight loss or hormone care. Telehealth visits are offered, and a provider relationship starts only after an in-person or telehealth visit. Google lists it as a medical clinic with 5 stars from 9 reviews. In its own words: "Here it isn’t about being skinny or what the scale says."
What does it cost?
Direct primary care is $165 a month, plus a $30 electronic medical record fee. The weight loss program quotes a $140 monthly primary care membership for adults, so the two figures do not match. The weight loss membership is $70, and it does not say how often that fee is charged. Medication is not included in the weight loss price.
Hormone therapy is sold in blocks: $275 for 3 months, $500 for 6 months, or $950 for a year. Hormones need monitoring, so it is not sold month to month. Direct primary care members do not buy a separate hormone membership, since it is included.
It is cash-pay only, and no insurance is required. It does not publish a consultation fee or cancellation terms.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which monthly primary care fee applies to you, $140 or $165, and whether the $70 weight loss membership repeats each month. Ask who writes the weight loss and hormone prescriptions, whether that person is on staff, and whether they see patients by telehealth. Ask whether the medication is brand-name Ozempic or Mounjaro or a compounded version, and what it costs each month on top of the membership. Ask what lab work and follow-up visits cost, since none are listed. Ask whether there is a consultation fee, and how a membership is cancelled, including any fee or notice period. If you are considering hormones, ask what happens to the unused part of a 3, 6 or 12 month block if you stop early.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a cash-pay primary care membership in Sparks, may also want IV hydration or hormone care through the same office, and are comfortable paying for medication on top of the fees. It is not a fit if you need your care billed to insurance.
