About Reno Integrative Health & Wellness

What is Reno Integrative Health & Wellness?

Reno Integrative Health & Wellness is an integrative medical clinic at 343 Elm Street, Suite 401, in Reno, Nevada 89503. It started in 1984 as an alternative cancer clinic and still offers non-toxic cancer treatments, including mistletoe, high dose vitamin C, hyperthermia therapy and UVBI. In 2022 it added wellness, detox and weight loss, and as of 2025 it also offers primary care and some aesthetic therapies such as Xeomin and dermal fillers. Laboratory testing and IV wellness are listed as well.

Two people are listed as prescribers: Kathy Goldsworthy, FNP, FNP-BC, and Dr. Robert Eslinger, D.O. Dr. Eslinger also serves as a consulting physician. The clinic has a 5 rating on Google from 13 reviews. You can call the office at (775) 829-1009.

Weight loss is one of its services. It says it may prescribe medications on their own or alongside other weight loss care. The options it names are semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide, Contrave, phentermine, sermorelin and low dose naltrexone, and it says the list is not limited to these. The program includes an individual plan, frequent provider visits, a monthly weigh-in on a SECA scale and lab monitoring with in-house phlebotomy. In its own words: "Our weight loss programs are tailored to each individual via medication, supplementation, regimens, or other services."

The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 4pm and Friday from 8:30am to 12pm. It is closed on weekends. Visits outside office hours are by appointment only. It does not list separate hours for weight loss visits.

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices for weight loss visits, medications, IV therapy or lab work, and it does not say whether medication is included in any price. For primary care, it says it accepts a variety of insurance plans. It does not say whether insurance covers weight loss care. It also accepts CareCredit, a health and wellness credit card with flexible financing. You apply through CareCredit directly, and approval is subject to credit approval.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs your prescription and whether that person sees you in person at each visit. Ask whether the program fee includes the medication, the monthly weigh-ins and the lab work, and what each costs if billed separately. Ask whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide is brand-name or compounded. It names brands such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound and Mounjaro but does not say which product it dispenses. Ask how cancellation works and whether telehealth is available for follow-up, since it does not say.

Its weight loss material describes Reiki and energy balancing as ways to address emotional and energetic blockages that may affect weight loss. Ask which parts of any program are medical care and which are wellness services, and what each costs. Its weight loss material also mentions hormone evaluation as a possible part of a plan, but hormone therapy is not on its service list, so ask whether it is offered.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a prescriber who sees you in person over time, want labs done in the same office, and are ready to get a written price for medication and visits before you start. It may not suit you if you need telehealth, hormone therapy or a published price, since none of those is listed.
