What is Parker Medical?
Parker Medical is a concierge medicine practice in Las Vegas, open since 2017. Its office is at 5380 S Rainbow Blvd, Suite 236, Las Vegas, NV 89118, and the phone number is (702) 778-2204. The practice also names Henderson, Summerlin and several other nearby areas, but it gives only the one street address. The office is open Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm, and Friday, 8am to 12pm. Members get 24/7 access.
Dr. Ryon Parker, MD, MBA, founded the practice and is board certified in internal medicine. James Broadbent, DO, and Tyler George, MD, are both board certified in family medicine. The practice lists eight services: concierge medicine, medical weight loss, hormone optimization, IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, body sculpting, nutrition and supplements, and pediatrics. Weight loss and hormones are two of those services, not the whole practice.
For weight loss, the practice lists Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro and Zepbound. In its own words: "We offer the full range of FDA-approved GLP-1 medications." It also offers a compounded option for patients without insurance coverage or during brand shortages. For hormones, it describes physician-supervised bioidentical hormone therapy using Pellecome pellets, inserted just beneath the skin. Peptide therapy is not on its service list.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight loss or hormone treatment, medication, or a consultation. It does not say whether medication is included in any price. The membership is annual and covers access, including 24/7 availability and same-day appointments, but the membership fee itself is not stated.
Insurance is handled separately from the membership. The practice says it is in network with most major carriers, and it names Aetna, Cigna, BCBS Nevada, UnitedHealthcare and Tricare West. In its own words: "Medical services bill to your insurance as usual." So the membership buys access, and medical services go through your plan.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription for GLP-1 medication and whether you will see that same physician at follow-up. Ask whether the membership fee includes any medication or whether medication is billed on top of it. Since the practice offers both brand name and compounded options, ask which it recommends for you and why. Ask what follow-up check-ins and lab work cost, and which of those your insurance covers.
For hormone pellets, ask whether insertion is included in the price and how often a visit is needed. Ask whether any part of your care can be done by telehealth, since the practice does not say. Ask whether weight loss treatment requires a membership, and how cancellation and refunds work.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a membership primary care practice in Las Vegas with 24/7 physician access and you plan to add GLP-1 weight loss or hormone care to it. It is a weaker fit if you need a posted price for medication, a telehealth option, or peptide therapy, since it does not publish prices for medication, does not state telehealth, and does not offer peptide therapy.
