About Long Life Med

What is Long Life Med?

Long Life Med is a cash-pay longevity and functional medicine clinic at 8870 S Maryland Pkwy, Ste 115, Las Vegas, NV 89123. The phone number is (702) 359-4510. It also serves Henderson, Nevada, and it runs a direct primary care membership alongside its longevity services. Its main services are medical weight loss, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for men and women, and direct primary care. Weight loss uses GLP-1 medications, and the practice names Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus) and Tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound). Other offerings include anti-aging medications, red light therapy, Alma TED hair treatments, and the Eversense 365 continuous glucose monitor. Hours are 08:00 to 20:00 Monday through Saturday and 09:00 to 13:30 on Sunday.

No prescriber is named, so you will not know who writes your prescription until you ask. Weight management patients get weekly provider support by text, call, or video, with dosing adjusted as needed.

What does it cost?

Weight management plans start at $300/month. That price includes GLP-1 doses, injection supplies, blood tests for baseline and monitoring, and weekly provider support. A $100/month plan covers medical management and prescriptions only, and you buy your medication from the manufacturer. A $300/quarter plan is also offered for branded GLP-1 injections, and it does not include the medications either.

BHRT plans start at $200/month or $2,000/yr prepaid, with hormone doses and regular blood tests included. The free BHRT consultation is booked by calling the clinic. Direct primary care has a low monthly membership fee, but it does not publish a dollar amount for that membership. The Eversense 365 CGM costs as little as $199, and most commercial health plans cover the sensor. Long Life Med works on a cash-pay basis for its longevity therapies, and it does not say whether insurance is accepted for visits.

In its own words: "The downside of this is that there are no half-doses or slow adjustments, and you get the manufacturer’s standard treatment."

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription and what credentials that person holds. No prescriber is named on the clinic's materials.

Ask whether the GLP-1 doses in the $300 monthly plan are brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills them. The clinic writes at length about vetting compounding pharmacies, so this question is a fair one to bring.

Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost after the first baseline tests, and whether anything is billed beyond the monthly fee.

Ask what the 12-week minimum requires, how cancellation works, and whether you can change plans partway through. Ask what the direct primary care membership costs each month, and whether insurance is accepted for visits.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a cash-pay clinic for medical weight loss, hormone therapy, or direct primary care, and you are comfortable paying monthly outside insurance. If the prescriber's credentials and the full monthly cost matter to your decision, get both answers in writing before you book.
