About Live Now Longevity

What is Live Now Longevity?

Live Now Longevity is a physician-led clinic at 9975 S Eastern Ave Ste 130 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Charles Kamen, MD, a board-certified neurologist, is the physician who prescribes and supervises care. The practice lists seven services: peptide therapy, weight management, NAD+ therapy, longevity medicine, hormone therapy, a regenerative medicine guide, and IV therapy. Weight management is the service it features most. For weight loss it names semaglutide and tirzepatide, sold as Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound and Mounjaro, used when medically appropriate. It also names retatrutide and describes it as investigational.

The clinic is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from noon to 5 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 8 pm, Pacific time. It is closed Sunday. It serves Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, Green Valley and the rest of Nevada, with telehealth available statewide. On Google it is rated 5 from 142 reviews. In its own words: "Every plan at LiveNow starts and stays under the supervision of a doctor."

What does it cost?

The first visit with Dr. Kamen is $88, and that fee is credited toward care if you continue. The practice is cash-pay and does not bill insurance. It has no contracts, and you pay as you go.

It does not publish medication prices, and it does not say whether medication is included in the $88 fee. The weight-loss program is priced only through that evaluation fee. The practice does state that medication is not marked up: "Medications prescribed by Dr. Kamen are billed without a markup." That tells you there is no markup, but not what the drug costs.

Lab work is described in two ways. One statement says lab testing is included in ongoing management. Another says additional tests may be needed and are charged separately. Ask which one applies to you before you book.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the ongoing fee includes medication, and what the medication costs on its own. Ask for the itemized estimate the practice offers, one that separates physician management from medication charges. Ask which pharmacy dispenses the medication, and whether the product is brand-name or compounded. The FDA has warned about unapproved, compounded GLP-1 products sold outside a medical relationship, so it is fair to ask which kind you would receive.

For the peptides, ask for sourcing documentation before you begin. Ask what follow-up visits cost, and whether lab work is billed separately. Ask whether HSA or FSA funds can be used.

Medication sales are final once a prescription is dispensed or an order is placed. The practice also says you can stop care at any time. Ask how stopping works if a refill is already in process.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a physician to review your history and labs before anything is prescribed, you can reach the Eastern Avenue office or do telehealth from Nevada, and you are comfortable paying cash for visits and medication without published medication prices. It is a weaker fit if you need insurance billing or want medication prices in writing before you commit.
