What is Harmony Med Spa?
Harmony Med Spa is a medical spa in Omaha, Nebraska, and it lists more than one office. Its Google listing shows a 4.8 rating from 45 reviews. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, microneedling, laser treatments, chemical peels, facials, Kybella, Emsculpt NEO and Emsella. The weight loss program is the one most patients ask about. In its own words: "Consultations for our medical weight loss programs are available at Harmony Med Spa." The clinic describes weekly one-on-one visits, body composition tracking, and targeted therapies that include hormone optimization, vitamin and nutrient repletion, prescription weight loss medications and peptide therapy for fat loss and muscle tone. It does not name the medications. Hormone replacement therapy is offered to men and women 21 or older, using oral or topical medication. Wellness injections include B12, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Tri-immune, Skinny Shot, Lipo+ and a fat burn injection.
The team page lists registered nurses, advanced practice nurses and spa coordinators, along with a name carrying MD credentials. It does not say which person writes prescriptions.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight loss, hormone therapy, peptides or cosmetic work. It does not say whether medication is included in any monthly figure. It has a Payment Plans section, but it lists no amounts or terms. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not mention HSA use, financing, membership terms or a cancellation policy.
Its hormone therapy section describes the first step. In its own words: "it is best to come in for a free consultation so we can identify what treatment might be best for you." Ask for the full cost of that visit and of any program before you book.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the prescriber. Ask who signs the prescription for weight loss medication and for hormone therapy, and what license that person holds. Ask whether the weight loss fee includes the medication, and whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. Because the clinic does not name its medications, ask for the names and the pharmacy that fills them.
Then ask about the ongoing costs. What do weekly visits, lab work and body composition checks cost, and are follow-up visits billed one at a time? The clinic also offers a complementary virtual consultation, but it does not say whether prescribing happens by video, so ask whether that visit can lead to a prescription. Ask whether it takes insurance or HSA cards, how you cancel a program, and whether you owe for the rest of a month if you stop. Finally, ask which office would handle your care.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want weight loss or hormone care in a med spa setting, you are prepared to pay cash, and you will get the prices, medication names and prescriber's name in writing before you commit. It is a weaker fit if you need a published price list before you call.
