About Desired Beauty Aesthetics
What is Desired Beauty Aesthetics?
Desired Beauty Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics practice at 1360 S. 5th St., Suite 1380, in Saint Charles, Missouri. Its Google listing calls it a medical spa. Most of what it offers is cosmetic, including Botox, dermal fillers and lip flips. Weight loss is one of its services, alongside IV and injection wellness treatments such as a Myer's Cocktail and vitamin B12 shots. The only clinician it names is Melanie Hampton Wright, MSN-Ed, BSN, RN, who describes herself as nurse injector and owner. The clinic does not say how long it has been open. Its Google rating is 4.9 from 39 reviews.
The clinic is by appointment only. Hours are Monday through Thursday 12:30 PM to 4 PM, Friday 12:30 PM to 3 PM, Saturday 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and closed Sunday. For same day needs or visits outside scheduled hours, call 3144795998.
Its weight loss program, called Weight Loss Management (Pick Up), uses a weekly GLP-1 injection, semaglutide. You receive a four week supply and pick it up at the office. The program is elective. You must be medically cleared and sign a consent and waiver form before your first injection.
What does it cost?
The semaglutide supply is $300 for four weeks, and that price includes the medication. It stays $300 regardless of dose. The program carries a $25 office visit fee. A semaglutide consultation is $30 for 15 minutes.
Botox is $10 per unit, or $9 per unit for new clients, and the final cost depends on how many units are used. Restylane is $500 per syringe. Juvéderm Ultra XC is $575 and Juvéderm Volbella XC is $625 per syringe. A Botox and filler package includes 10 units of Botox free with one syringe of filler. A Myer's Cocktail IV is $150, and a vitamin B12 injection is $25. A general consultation is $30 for 20 minutes, and that deposit credits toward your bill when services are provided.
Booking deposits range from $20 to $100 depending on the service, and they are nonrefundable. Buy Now, Pay Later through its booking system covers bookings from $50 to $4,000, and you must be approved before your appointment. Cherry Financing is also offered, with a soft credit pull. The clinic does not say whether it accepts insurance. On cancellation, it says: "Cancellation fee is 20% of service if within 48hrs of your scheduled appointment." If you reschedule at the time you cancel, you can use your deposit as a credit.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the semaglutide prescription. The clinic names only one clinician, a nurse, and does not say which clinician prescribes the medication. Ask who signs it and what the prescriber's visits involve.
Ask whether the $300 covers any visits or lab work, and whether the medication is brand name or compounded. Ask whether the $25 office visit fee applies every month, how long the program runs, and what follow-up and lab work cost. Ask whether any part of care can be done by video, since the clinic does not say. Ask whether insurance is accepted, and get the deposit, cancellation and refund terms in writing before you pay.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a cash pay weight loss program alongside cosmetic treatments in one Saint Charles office, and you accept deposits that do not come back. If you need to know who prescribes, what follow-up costs, and whether video visits are offered before you commit, ask those questions first.
