About Bell Health

What is Bell Health?

Bell Health is a multi-service clinic at 1944 Zumbehl Road in Saint Charles, Missouri. It has been open since 1977, when it started as Bell Chiropractic, and its providers include medical doctors, osteopaths, chiropractors and nurse practitioners. Chiropractic care, urgent care, sports physicals and DOT physicals are all under one roof, so this is mainly a general and chiropractic clinic with cash-pay programs added. Blake Bell is the owner and clinic director. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 9am to 1pm and 2:30pm to 6pm, Friday from 9am to 3pm, and Saturday by appointment.

Three of its services are the cash-pay care most readers come here for: medical weight loss, Low T and E.D. care, and peptide therapy. The weight loss program uses GLP-1 medication, and the clinic names Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Ozempic, Mounjaro and Wegovy. Its peptide program is described as physician-supervised and pharmacy-compounded, aimed at weight loss, tissue repair, longevity and cognitive performance, and it lists many individual compounds. The clinic does not name who prescribes its weight loss medication, and it does not say whether testosterone is offered by name. Google lists the business as a Medical Center with a 4.9 rating from 359 reviews. The phone number is 314-838-1983.

What does it cost?

For in-office weight loss care, the doctor consult, exam and program approval is $125. The weekly program with GLP-1 medication included is $50 per week, or $175 to start. From home, the $125 consult plus a program with one month of GLP-1 medication at $200 and $25 in supplies comes to $350 to start. After that, home plans start at $200 a month. In its own words: "No long-term contracts. No monthly memberships."

The weight loss section also offers a free 15-minute consultation, which sits alongside the $125 doctor consult, so ask which one applies before you book. The $50 price is described as a "starting generic price," so ask what generic means for the medication you would receive. The clinic does not publish prices for Low T, E.D. or peptide care, and it does not say whether it accepts insurance.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who prescribes the weight loss medication, and get the prescriber's name and credentials in writing. Then ask whether the medication is brand-name, generic or compounded, since the clinic names brand products and also describes its price as generic. Ask which pharmacy fills it.

Ask whether the $50 weekly price covers follow-up visits, dose changes and lab work, and what those cost if it does not. The at-home plan includes a video call for onboarding, so ask whether later visits can also be done by video. Ask what happens once you reach your goal weight and whether any maintenance plan costs extra.

For Low T care, ask whether testosterone is offered, which medication would be used, and what visits and labs cost. For peptides, ask which compounds you would receive, what each costs, and who supervises them. For any service, ask whether insurance applies, how to stop the program, and whether any charges continue afterward.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want in-person weight loss care at a clinic that also handles primary, urgent and chiropractic care, and you are willing to confirm the prescriber and the exact product before you pay. It is a harder call if you need published prices for hormone or peptide care, or if you need to know how insurance would apply.
