About Bliss Aesthetics & Wellness Clinic
What is Bliss Aesthetics & Wellness Clinic?
Bliss Aesthetics & Wellness Clinic is a medical spa and wellness clinic at 2872 Seckman Road in Imperial, Missouri. Its twelve services include medical weight loss and hormone therapy, alongside IV services, Botox and Xeomin, wellness injections, lab services, and counseling. Rebecca Lewis, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is the nurse practitioner who prescribes. Bliss provides its medical services under a formal Collaborative Practice Agreement with a Missouri licensed physician.
The weight loss program lists Wegovy (semaglutide), Zepbound (tirzepatide), and oral Wegovy tablets, prescribed when medically appropriate. Compounded GLP-1 medication may be prescribed in some cases. Visits can be in person in Imperial or by telehealth, but telehealth clients must be in Missouri at the time of the visit. Brittanie Thebeau, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor, provides counseling, which is not a medical service. Hours are noon to 6:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday, noon to 5:00 pm Wednesday and Friday, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, and by appointment Sunday and Monday. The phone number is (314) 282-5578. Google shows a 5 rating from 13 reviews.
What does it cost?
The initial HRT consultation is $99. Bliss does not publish a monthly program fee. For FDA approved GLP-1 medication, the pharmacy bills you for the drug, not Bliss. Cash-pay pharmacy programs start around $149 per month for oral Wegovy and around $299 per month for Zepbound. Bliss does not set those prices, and they may change and depend on pharmacy availability. Compounded GLP-1 medication runs $189 to $279 per month and is paid directly to Bliss.
Payment options are credit or debit cards, Bliss gift cards, HSA or FSA for therapy sessions if eligible, and Cherry Payment Plans, subject to approval. Bliss does not say whether it accepts insurance. Services are non-refundable once performed. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead to avoid a $15 cancellation fee.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether Bliss accepts your insurance for its visits. It does not say. If you have insurance, Bliss offers to send your prescription to a pharmacy of your choice, so the pharmacy can check your coverage and out-of-pocket cost.
Ask whether any monthly figure you are quoted includes the medication. Ask whether the drug would be brand name or compounded. In its own words: "We believe patients should know exactly what medication they are receiving and have confidence in the quality and consistency of their treatment." Get the answer for your own prescription in writing.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost. Lab testing is listed as "when indicated," and no lab prices are published. If you are considering hormone therapy, ask whether lab work is required before your first prescription. Ask about membership terms and how to cancel, because commitment and cancellation terms for memberships are not published.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you live in Missouri, want a nurse practitioner to handle prescriptions in person or by video, and are ready to pay the consultation fee and pharmacy prices yourself. If you need a clinic that bills insurance for its own visits, get that answer in writing before you book.
