What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the weight loss prescription. Joy Ekenga, NP, leads the clinic, and Jay Epstein, MD, is its collaborating physician. Ask whether the medication is brand name or compounded. The clinic calls its GLP-1 medicines compounded, even though brand names appear on the same page. Ask whether the membership includes the medication or only a discount on it, and what the medication costs each month. Ask what the consultation costs, what follow-up labs cost, and how cancellation works. Ask which age applies to weight loss, since new clients are accepted from age 16 but membership plans start at 8. Ask whether telehealth covers weight loss and which states it covers, since the clinic does not name them.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want general care and labs under one flat monthly membership near north county, and you are ready to get medication, consultation and cancellation terms in writing before you start weight loss treatment. It may not suit anyone who needs a published weight loss price before they call.
