What is Blush Medical Aesthetics & Wellness?
Blush is a medical spa at 940 Church Road West, Suite B, Southaven, MS 38671, phone (662) 298-4714. Its main business is aesthetic care: Botox and Letybo, fillers, microneedling, facials, skincare, IV hydration, lab services and spray tans. Medical weight management is one of its services. It is a provider-led program that uses FDA-approved medications, oral or injectable depending on the patient.
Misty Burton, FNP, FNP-C, is the only prescriber named. She has 29 years of nursing experience and 8 years as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. The clinic does not name the weight loss medication. It does not offer hormone therapy or peptide therapy. Its DefenAge line is a skincare product built on peptide technology, so it is not peptide therapy. The clinic has a 5 rating from 67 Google reviews. Hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday, 10:00am to 2:00pm, by reservation. Telehealth is not mentioned.
What does it cost?
The clinic does not publish a price for weight management, and it does not say whether medication is included in the program fee. Its only program figure is a $35 add-on for Lipo-C injections. No consultation fee is stated. In its own words: "This is a minimum 4-month, provider-led commitment, because sustainable weight loss requires more than a single injection."
Memberships are $99 a month on a 3-month commitment or $149 a month on a 6-month commitment, each plus a 3% card fee. They list discounts on spa treatments and products, not the weight program. Membership purchases are non-refundable. Cancellation is allowed after the initial commitment period.
It does not say it accepts insurance. It points to financing and payment plans through CareCredit at a 7% fee or Cherry at a 10% fee. Cancelling with less than 24-hour notice, or missing an appointment, costs $50. A $100 deposit is required for future bookings after a no-show.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the monthly program fee includes the medication, and if not, what the medication costs on top. Ask which medication is prescribed and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask who signs the prescription and who covers your care between visits. Ask what baseline and follow-up labs cost and how often they are drawn. The program includes annual lab work, and baseline labs start many treatment plans, so the schedule matters. Ask whether any part of the program can be done by telehealth, and whether HSA or FSA cards are accepted. Ask for the total cost over the 4-month minimum, and whether membership fees keep running if you stop.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a nurse practitioner to run a medication program with monthly visits, lab work, meal plan updates and weekly check-ins, you can pay out of pocket for at least four months, and you can come in person to Southaven. It is less of a fit if you need a published price or telehealth before you commit.
