About Haya Health
What is Haya Health?
Haya Health is a cardiometabolic clinic at 360 Sherman Street, Suite 299, in St. Paul, Minnesota. It focuses on weight management, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and preventive care, and lists five services: obesity management, diabetes care, cardiovascular health, nutrition and coaching, and preventive care. Google lists it as a medical clinic with a 4.7 rating from 12 reviews. It is open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed Sundays.
Cynthia Woods is the medical director and a board-certified internal medicine physician with additional training in obesity medicine. Katie Mohr is a board-certified nurse practitioner. These are the two people named as prescribers. The clinic's team also includes dietitians and health coaches. In its own words: "We prescribe GLP-1 agonist medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide for appropriate patients."
Haya Health also sells cosmetic memberships for Botox and IV hydration. That is worth knowing if you expect a purely medical practice.
What does it cost?
The weight management programs are priced per month before insurance, in three tiers: Drop 10 at $525, Drop 20 at $635 and Drop 40 at $765. The Drop 10 program runs 3 months, and the other two run 6 months. A one-time fee of $379 covers the first 60-minute physician consultation, which includes baseline blood testing and a check on whether you qualify for semaglutide.
Haya Health accepts most major insurance providers. Out-of-network rates may apply, and out-of-pocket costs can be paid with HSA or FSA funds. It does not say whether the monthly price includes medication, and it does not state cancellation or commitment terms. It also does not publish a total cost for the 6-month programs. The cosmetic memberships run from $129 to $373 a month.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the money. Ask whether the monthly price includes the medication, and if it does not, what the medication costs each month. Ask whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the baseline and follow-up lab work cost, and whether those fall inside the monthly price.
Then ask about the care itself. Haya Health names two prescribers but does not say which one handles GLP-1 prescribing, so ask who writes and renews the prescription. Ask whether the monthly physician check-ins and 24/7 phone support are included in your tier. Ask whether visits can be done by video, since no telehealth information is published. Ask how cancellation works and whether you commit beyond the program length. Finally, have the front desk confirm your insurance coverage and expected out-of-pocket cost before you pay anything.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person care in St. Paul that covers weight, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar in one place, and you are willing to get medication costs and cancellation terms in writing before you book. If you need video visits or a firm monthly total, call 651-243-4499 first.
