About Abella Aesthetics

What is Abella Aesthetics?

Abella Aesthetics is a medical spa at 15725 37th Ave N Unit 1 in Plymouth, MN 55446. The phone number is 612.446.8474. Most of its services are skin and injectable work: Botox and Dysport, fillers, Sculptra, hydrafacials and dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling with PRP, PRP and PRF injections, and IV therapy with vitamin boosters. Weight loss is one of its services, and it appears under three headings: weight loss, health and weight loss, and medical weight loss.

The weight loss program is built around medication. Abella names semaglutide, tirzepatide and Ozempic, and describes Ozempic as a brand name for a medicine that contains semaglutide. In its own words: "Our provider-led approach combines medication, ongoing support, and personalized care." Each month includes a vitamin IM injection. The practice does not name the provider who prescribes, and it does not say whether any visits can be done by telehealth. Google lists it as a medical spa, with a rating of 5 from 101 reviews.

What does it cost?

The weight loss program is $199 a month for the first two months, then $499 a month as an ongoing membership. The monthly price includes medication and supplies. It requires a 4-month minimum commitment, and pricing is subject to change. Abella does not publish a consultation fee or prices for its skin and injectable treatments. Its only named payment option is patient financing, and it does not say whether it accepts insurance. It also does not say what happens after the four-month minimum or how cancellation works. Ask these before you pay.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription and what credentials that person holds, and get the answer before you pay. Ask whether the $499 covers every refill during the membership, and whether the medicine is brand-name or compounded, since Ozempic is named without saying which version is dispensed. Ask what the consultation costs, what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether telehealth is available. Ask what happens after the four months, whether the $199 rate ends after two months, and how cancellation works. Ask the prescriber to check your history against the conditions Abella lists as reasons not to use semaglutide, including pancreatitis, type 1 diabetes and pregnancy. Finally, confirm the hours before you visit. Its hours are given two ways. One schedule has Tuesday open until 7 PM and the other weekdays until 5 PM. Another says Monday through Friday, 9AM to 6PM.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want skin treatments and a medication weight loss program from one clinic, can pay out of pocket for at least four months, and are comfortable confirming who prescribes before you commit. It is less suited to you if you need insurance billing or a named prescriber before you book.
