What is Luxx Med Aesthetics & Wellness?
Luxx Med Aesthetics & Wellness is a med spa on Ford Rd in Westland, Michigan, offering a wide menu of aesthetic and wellness services. Its list of services runs from IV therapy, cupping, facials and peels, laser and light treatments, Deka CO2 laser resurfacing, Venus Bliss Max body contouring, injectables, Sylfirm X RF microneedling and Visia skin analysis, with a Weight Loss Clinic as one offering among these. The weight loss program is described as doctor-supervised and overseen by Michigan Board-Certified Physicians, though no individual prescriber is named. Patients are said to meet monthly with a medical provider as part of the program. Medications named for the weight loss program include Mounjaro (Tirzepatide), Ozempic, Plenity, Qsymia (Phentermine/Topiramate) and Saxenda (Liraglutide).
One of its own pages is titled for a Canton, MI clinic and describes hormone therapy and nutritional counseling as part of the weight loss program there, while the address given for Luxx Med Aesthetics & Wellness is in Westland. It is not clear from what is published whether this is the same location under two names, a second office, or an older page that was not updated. That is worth asking about directly.
What does it cost?
No prices are published for the weight loss program, its consultation, or its medications. The site mentions Cherry Financing as a way to make treatment "more accessible and convenient," which suggests a financing option rather than insurance coverage, but no monthly payment figures, fees, or financing terms are given. Anyone interested should ask for the full cost breakdown before booking.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who the prescribing physician is by name and what their credentials are, since the program is described only as overseen by "Michigan Board-Certified Physicians" without identifying anyone specifically. Ask whether the monthly cost, whatever it turns out to be, includes the medication itself or is billed separately. Ask whether the medications dispensed are brand-name products like Mounjaro and Ozempic or compounded versions. Find out what the Canton, MI page is about and whether hormone therapy or nutritional counseling described there is actually available at the Westland address. Ask what lab work or follow-up visits cost, whether telehealth visits are an option, and what the terms are for canceling a Cherry Financing plan.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit for someone who wants a single med spa for a broad range of aesthetic treatments and is also curious about a medically supervised weight loss option alongside them, rather than someone looking for a clinic that specializes only in weight loss or offers remote-only care. Anyone drawn specifically by the hormone therapy or nutritional counseling mentioned on the Canton page should confirm in writing that those services are actually offered at the Westland location before assuming so.
