What is revive Self Spa?
revive Self Spa is mainly a spa. It offers massage, body wraps, skincare, tanning, a Hydration Station and far infrared saunas, and it also runs a physician-run medical weight loss program. Dr. Keri Topouzian, D.O., leads the medical side and is board certified in Functional Medicine and Emergency Medicine, with 30+ years of experience. Dori Josimovich, RN, handles scheduling for first appointments and free consults.
The medical services cover four areas. Medical weight loss includes oral semaglutide and HCG, and tesamorelin is offered as a program add-on. Hormone therapy covers menopause and bio-identical hormone replacement, and it uses bio-identical hormones from compounding pharmacies. It also lists anti-aging medicine and functional medicine, along with IV therapy. It does not publish a street address or a service area. Hours change by season. From June to September it opens 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Tuesday to Friday, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday. From October to May, Tuesday to Friday runs until 7:00 pm. It is closed Sunday.
What does it cost?
It does not publish one price for a full program. Each program has its own prices. HCG runs $585 for 12 weeks, $535 for 12 weeks for returning patients, or $385 for 9 weeks. Low carb runs $275 for 4 weeks, or $250 for returning patients. Oral semaglutide runs $300 for the first 4 weeks and $250 for each 4 weeks after that. Traditional weight loss runs $250 for the first visit and $80 for each follow-up.
The oral semaglutide prescription is a separate charge: $104 in the first month, $119 in the second and $130 in the third. It does not say whether the program fee covers it. Tesamorelin is $110 a month, and HMB is $55 a month. The appetite suppressant is not included in the HCG, low carb or traditional prices. The HCG program also says HCG is not included in its price, even though its list of what is included names the HCG prescription.
All programs are non-refundable. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and a missed appointment costs $40. The first consult is free. Customers who pay cash receive a cash incentive, and card payments carry a 4% convenience fee. It does not say whether it accepts insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
It requires a phone consult before any program starts. In its own words: "Understand you will not be able to start a program until you have a phone consult with Dr. Topouzian."
Ask who signs each prescription and whether Dr. Topouzian reviews it by phone or in person. Ask whether the oral semaglutide is brand name or compounded, since it does not say. Ask whether the hormone prescriptions are compounded and what they cost, because neither is priced. Ask what lab work costs, since testing is mentioned but not priced. Ask whether follow-up can be done by phone or video, since it does not say. Ask whether the HCG and appetite suppressant are included, and what the total comes to each month. Finally, ask how a cancellation works, given that programs are non-refundable.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a physician-run weight loss program, can pay cash on non-refundable terms, and are ready to book the phone consult before anything starts. To ask about the free consult, call Dori at 269-277-4566, or call Dr. Topouzian's office at 248-302-0473 to set up the phone consult.
