What is Dr. Q Wellness?

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs your prescriptions and who supervises the weight loss program. Dr. Qutab is the only prescriber named, and the clinic does not say whether a physician oversees that program. It is built on metabolic biotransformation, vitamins, herbs, functional foods and a body composition analysis. No weight loss medication is named, so ask whether a prescription drug is part of it and what it would cost.

For hormone care, ask whether the hormones are compounded or manufactured, which pharmacy fills them, and whether the fee covers the medication. The biodetoxification program starts with lab testing and a metabolic screening questionnaire, so ask what that testing costs before you agree to start. Finally, ask how to cancel, whether you can stop partway through, and whether any fee is refunded.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a natural medicine approach from a doctor who also formulates supplements, you are able to pay cash, and you want fees and program terms in writing before you commit.
